The property was great and location was perfect.

Don’t: for the price per night the property need some more update. What in in picture was not at the property. The movie room had no TV, the fridge was not cooling, tv and fan controls were missing batteries. For the price per night the property really need some updates.

Very nice house

Nice house , we enjoyed our stay here. The only thing we can suggest to the owner that she should hire different cleaning service! Other than that everything was great and Marion is very easy to talked to and when we asked for staying few more hours she said there is no problem - that was so nice of her. We might visit this house again :)

Great location, slightly misleading listing

I recently stayed here with 5 girlfriends for a weekend getaway. While the location was great and the cabin was cozy, the WiFi that was advertised did not work. You could technically log on but it wasn’t even strong enough to send a text or download a website. The welcome binder was also missing when we checked in, without explanation. Also, there was no AC so the house reached inside temps of 85+ degrees and it was difficult to sleep comfortably even with all the ceiling fans on. Despite these inconveniences, still a nice place if these things don’t bother you — we had a great time.

Ample space for a nice get together

Plus: 15 minute walk to the lake, ample public space to gathering, well stocked kitchen tools Minus: one bathroom faucet almost had no water, House is old so that some doors and windows don’t work well.

House was perfect for a girls weekend

The mountain house was perfect for our girls weekend Scrapbooking. There was 5 of us and the house met our needs. The family room was bright and comfy for kicking back and relaxing. Each of us felt our beds were comfortable enough to not have a complaint. The house was clean upon entry. We were able to stay a little later on our departing day which we were thankful for. The area is very quiet and great for taking walks. If I had to have a complaint it is that we all had a hard time with the WIFI. We were able to get some from an unsecured server. Not good when we all brought home computers to log onto to do our scrapbooks. The WIFI wasn’t strong enough to load pages on our phones and/or computers. It was very intermittent. That would be the one thing I would love to see made better. We are already planning a return date!

Beautiful Home, close to everything, owner is so easy to work with

The house was amazing for our kids free weekend with our friends. So close to amazing restaurants and the lake. If you come here you will not be disappointed. On Saturday I texted the owner asking if we could extend our checkout on Sunday and the owner responded right away with absolutely. The owner was very responsive with answers to my questions. We will stay here again!!! Thank you

Great house!

Large house with more than enough room for larger families or get togethers. The back room and large back deck were our favorite part where we could all hangout and watch football. Highly recommend!

We can NOT recommend

This property is much neglected! It was so dirty upon arrival. Rotting garbage was found in the kitchen cabinet. Spider webs everywhere along with some very large spiders. Mice, we saw one run across the kitchen floor and mouse traps were under the kitchen sink. Sticky floors and counter tops. Mouse poop on the counter tops. There was a plastic bowl under the kitchen sink catching water that was leaking from the kitchen sink tap. The coffee maker was not cleaned in who knows how long. And it was full of mold when we tried to brew some coffee! The first plate we took out of the cupboard was last used as an ash tray and still had ashes on it. It was just plain gross. Was it cleaned before we got there? None of the remotes had batteries in them. Many of the TVs could only operate with remotes. So with no remotes, not all TV’s were operable. The ONE remote that did have batteries worked all the TV’s. This was not convenient with many couples wanting to watch different things. We were able to find two so we could set up Netflix on the TV. But the Wi-Fi is awful. Barely a signal. So then we remembered a DVD was advertised in the listing. BUT….the DVD player is broken! So if you need to get a little work done or check your work e mail for a brief moment, the Wi-Fi is not adequate. None of the clocks had batteries in them either. It’s like the owners just left the house to its own devices without any regard for upkeep. It was also very hot. This is no fault of the owners. But the ceiling fans did not work to try and get a breeze going. Many windows did not open either or were broken. The screen door to the deck was broken and was difficult to open. Almost all of the smoke detectors were missing which presented a safety issue. The BBQ grill was not working properly. The deck was full of clutter and dirt. The deck chairs provided were dirty and not adequate. We had a great time in the area. But I would suggest no one rent this property until the owners pay some attention to it and get it cleaned up!

Perfect House, Location, and amenities!

We stayed in this beautiful house for a week and we were sad to leave. The minute you open the front door of this house you will be mesmerized. It is cozy, comfortable, super clean, and has all you need to make great meals. The sun room was our favorite place to enjoy our coffee and tea in the mornings with the calming view of the woods and movies at night with plenty couches to seat our family of 12. This house is just like the pictures very spacey for kids to enjoy. We definitely made wonderful memories to last forever! Our property contact Marian is awesome! Always available and prompt to assists with any questions we had. She definitely made our stay smooth and easy. Thanks for a perfect vacation! :)

Great Stay!

My family & friends really enjoyed their stay here for a weekend getaway. The house is exactly like in the pictures. Very comfortable and great for relaxing. We spent most of our time on the very comfortable couches and hanging out on the deck. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and eat with. (Pans/dishes/utensils). Nice, quiet area & easy to find. We all agreed we would definitely book this house for another getaway.

Great getaway

Rented the place for my family and a couple of friends we stayed over the weekend. The house was very clean the owner was great and answered our questions very fast. The house is surounded by trees and it has a big patio with bbq outside. We had a great time and its perfect for kids and babies a spacious living and dininning room gave my son a lot of space for him to run around.
