I recently stayed at the Royal Lahaina Resort, and my experience was far from satisfactory. From the very beginning, I encountered several issues that made my stay uncomfortable.
The service was consistently poor throughout my visit. After a long flight, the check-in process was slow and disorganized, despite having completed an online check-in in advance. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration.
Upon entering my room, I was immediately hit by an unpleasant odor of mold and humidity that lingered throughout my stay, making it difficult to relax or even breathe comfortably. The room’s design, while visually appealing, was flawed, particularly with the placement of the air conditioning unit. It was positioned so poorly that it either blasted cold air directly onto the bed or left the rest of the room unbearably warm. This made it impossible to find a comfortable temperature, leading to a restless night and, ultimately, my entire family feeling unwell the next day.
