The property was nice. The room was comfortable. The only downfall is that the bathtub area didn’t have good drainage, so we ended up with a bath tub full of bath water for 2 days.

Not as good as expected.
Outside of the hotel looked good, Christmas decorations were up and very festive. Room was worn, bed covers had loose strands, light shade was cracked, heater did not work. Breakfast did not start till 7.00am. This was a Friday.

The rooms themselves are nicely remodeled, and the area is quiet. This would be a five-star review but the staff was noticeably cold and signage to the lobby/check-in was non-existent (there are three buildings, but only a lobby in one).

Equipment NOISE!
Not so good they have i believe there laundry equipment either above or next to my room VERY LOUD and I was unable to sleep. This LOUD noise goes all night I had to put ear plugs in to get sum sleep! Everything is great about that hotel but I will not be back.

This place is dated and in need of serious updates. The beds and bedding in need of replacement. Need to make sure to wash the decorative piece on the bed, it had visible crust of some sort. The breakfast was decent, need healthier options than sugary cereal and preservative sugar filled danish and such. The hard boiled egg (prefer warm over cold) was great, bananas, and yogurt. The pool and hot tub were a plus just too much chlorine to enjoy.

Lots of amenities for a good price
Laguna Hills Lodge offers a lot of amenities for the price. We use the outdoor pool, which was warm enough for swimming in November, as well as the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. The breakfast was small but sufficient with cereal, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast and drinks. The hotel is waking distance to many restaurants and stores and is right off the 5 freeway.
