Across From Kamaole 2 Beach, This Concrete Resort Is Maintained Well

Ours is a one bedroom condo, on the top (2nd) floor, next to our corner unit #212 of building #3, The unit has a full kitchen and amenities. Our Lanai is a good size with ocean and beach views and there is a nice table and chairs on the lanai where we eat most meals. We have recently fully renovated our condo (down to the studs in every room) which means it is brand new. It is furnished with high-end appliances and furniture etc. Our bathroom is completely tiled with a very spacious shower, and all new towels etc. Kamaole beach II is directly in front of us, about 100 yds from the door. The pool and laundry room are about 100 ft. away at the pool. Restaurants and shops are 1/2 a block away. Our complex, Kihei Kai Nani, was one of the first two Kihei resorts built in the seventies. They could have chosen any of the beaches for miles around, but they chose Kamaole II, what more to say? Actually I should comment on our decision to not install a dishwasher, washer and dryer, We have been visiting our first condo in Kihei Kai Nani for about 35 years now, and have never felt the need for such appliances. Two people can surely wash dishes in a large double sink, and a washer and dryer take up a lot of space, and are very expensive to operate with Maui electricity costs. They give off heat, they are noisy, and they can leak and need repairs. When the laundry room is steps away, beside the pool where you often meet other vacationers, it is a no brainer. In our opinion, A/C in Hawaii is generally not necessary,, but we have installed quality units for those, that desire it, I have owned my 1st condo in Kihei Kai Nani for 35 years and have never lost a guest due to not having the appliances aforementioned. Finally, if you are looking for the cheapest deal, in KKN, then ours is not it, but I do believe for a few dollars more, we will give you one of the best units in KKN for your money, We just purchased a new Queen sofa bed and mattress in May/23

Wonderful Condo. Felt like home in beautiful Maui.
This is a wonderful condo. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We truly felt at home here in Maui. This is our 2nd stay in this condo. We are from Hawaii Island so we come to Maui often for a quick gateway. The condo is the perfect size. Plenty of room for my husband and I to spread out and relax. The kitchen has a great layout and was tastefully decorated. The spice cabinet had all the essentials. There was plenty of Tupperware to use for picnics. The kitchen was even stocked with plastic sandwich bags and had plenty of rolls of paper towels. Lots of cookware, plates, and glasses. Everything to make you feel right at home in beautiful Maui. The artwork in the condo was beautiful with gorgeous views of South Maui. There is ambient adjustable lighting above the artwork that creates a very relaxing atmosphere in the evening. The reclining chairs were very comfortable for my husband and I to relax and watch some TV in the evening. The TV is large with a clear picture and good sound. The couch was a nice place to sit for morning coffee as we planned out our Maui day. Everyone in the condo complex is very friendly. Having laundry on site was nice for a week’s stay. There is even detergent pads in the closet at the condo. Many nice restaurants in walking distance. Our favorite tee shirt shop is in the shopping plaza next to the condo complex. This is our go to condo when ever we are visiting Maui.

Across from the Beach!
I have stayed in Bob’s condo several times, and each time is great! He is so responsive if needed, the condo is across from the beach and a short walk to grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The condo is fully stocked with everything you might need and there is a beautiful pool nearby condo as well to use. Plenty of parking spots inside to choose from. I strongly recommend this condo for anyone looking to be extremely close to everything!

From the minute we walked into the condo we were so impressed with the new kitchen, new flooring, new bathroom, beautiful artwork and new furnishings. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The location offered us the ability to walk to coffee, restaurants, gelato, ice cream, shops and of course, the beach, which is directly across the street from the condo. We didn't use our car!!

The condo is beautiful inside and very nicely updated. The layout of the condo is great and has plenty of room . We had everything we needed for our stay and really enjoyed the deck with the nice little ocean view. It is situated very close to the beach and in walking distance to many amenities. Everything was great. The condo was super clean, had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, beach chairs/umbrella, plenty of towels, etc.), had nice furnishings, and very nice kitchen and bathroom. The location within the complex was great -- close to the beach, but one building back so there was no street noise. (The complex overall is pretty big, so it could be a considerably longer walk to the beach if you had a unit far from the street) The parking spots are a little tight, but plentiful. The complex pool was very nice and one of the larger pools I saw when researching places to stay. Facility laundry room was close to unit and seemed to have plenty of washers and dryers, but we didn't use them so can't comment further about that. The beach across the street was perfect -- wide, clean, and beautiful. The street to cross is pretty busy, but the traffic stops immediately to let you cross so it wasn't an issue at all for us. Many of the beaches in the area are much more narrow (distance from street to water). The overall area is quite busy with restaurants and tourist retail (snorkel rentals, souvenirs, ice cream, etc.). So if you want a remote, isolated-feeling area this wouldn't be best, but we loved the convenience of walking to dinner, groceries, etc. Depsite being a busy area, it wasn't noisy or crazy-feeling. The owner was super responsive to emails and one phone call. Overall, it was really perfect for us

We've stayed here several times and our trip was great as per usual. We've had family and friends stay in other vacation rentals, and this one is by far, the best stocked. It has everything you could need and more. Bob is very responsive with any concerns and has a lot of great suggestions for everything you might need on your stay in Maui. Location is also one of the best you can get in Kihei as it is one of the closest units within walking distance to the beach. Mahalo for another great year KKN!

Great condo, loved it
The condo is very nice, clean and upgraded. Quiet. Everything was great about it, the living room had great seating and tv, bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed and was nicely organized. Best location and the ocean view made it that much nicer. Would love to stay here again.
