Upon arrival there was a sign of guests only or tow for the parking but there was no staff there or ability ti register it. Beautiful view right on the water and but no map, or direction to your room you have to find it. The room was a very strong smell of cleaning products when you enter it’s a bit overwhelming so leave a door open. The rooms are not horrible but definitely not as well kept as the pictures suggest the royal suite bathroom has mold in the bath and near the toilet. Last but not least we woke up with horrible bed bug bites, I know Florida has no see ums but these are looking like bed bugs.

The staff was very polite. However, the beds were uncomfortable and the overall state of the room was very disappointing. Our jetted tub did not fill over the jets and made terrible noises. Decent for a low budget stay, but not at all like it is advertised.

Overall the resort was good, however there is no staff or front desk people in this resort. There is a sister resort next door called amoray and they have staff until 8:00 pm, and they said if e have any questions or concerns we can reach out to them or call the number on the front desk. I felt scary and also anyone can enter the resort - it is a security issue. Other than that every thing was good they gave us free kayaking padels and boats.

The setting is lovely. The location is great. The room needed an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The shower water would only get warm, never hot, no matter what time of day. The bathroom window was stuck open. I did enjoy the free kayak and the self check in.

The Perfect Cozy Beach House
I loved having a place with a nice view of the water, and the beach and garden areas were amazing to have as well! I had a lot of amazing activities to do in the area, but I still would have loved to spend more time relaxing here.

Azul Del Mar Honeymoon
The property was small but very pretty! The beach area and chairs to sit by the gulf were nice. We were a little disappointed in our mattress as we did not find it to be comfortable. The shower was also a little smaller than we would have liked. Room service was late in the day so we we often didnt get it because we were back for the day and didn’t want to be interrupted. Came here for our honeymoon and we did feel private and secluded more than a large resort.

I recently stayed at Azul Del Mar in Key Largo on Thanksgiving 2024 and had a fantastic experience! The Royale room was clean and very spacious, with beautiful views of the beautiful water!! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The on-site amenities, including the pool and restaurant, were top-notch. They even had a late check-out option which was great and accommodating. I especially loved the easy access to water sports and activities, including free Kayaks and Paddleboards on site for Guests to use.. Walked to Jimmy Johnson's The Big Chill restaurant nearby. The food was great and we watched a Dolphins football game on the many TVs outside, as well as heard live music on the water!! Overall, a perfect getaway spot in the Florida Keys! Will definitely return again and book the Royale room. 👑

There were other couples staying there but they never were at the beach so it felt like we had rhe whole resort to ourselves. It was so quite and peaceful. We even saw manatees and a stingray from the dock one morning.
