Nice place to stay

The house was clean and well stocked with enough room to spread out. Location was close to town. The kids enjoyed the creek and we had a lot fun here. The host was great and reached out to see if we needed anything. Would recommend.

Weekend in Jemez springs

Well appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bath house just north of the Jemez historical site. 20 mintutes from great hiking at Fenton Lake or the Caldera area. As well as the picturesque area at Red Rocks.

A great escape from the city

The home is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was just far enough off the road and right along the river with river access. The views from the porch are very nice. The center of town was about a mile away. There is not a grocery store nearby, so bring any groceries you want. The kitchen is well equipped and had some basics like spices and oil when we were there. Plenty of room for 6. We would love to stay again sometime.

53rd anniversary trip

Everything about this place is exactly as advertised. The house and property are larger than we expected. There is a wall around the back yard. Nice. Miros is an Angel and wanted our stay to be perfect. We had a bottle of Prosecco and wine glasses waiting for us for our anniversary. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house because there was so much to do in the area and the house is in the center of it all.

Lovely stay in the Jemez

Mom’s place is in a perfect location - you can hear the river running out back, and you can walk to the hot springs and local restaurants. The house has everything you could ask for, and the managers promptly answer all questions. Yes, the neighboring properties aren’t pristine, but this is a real community in New Mexico - the natural beauty of the area outshines it all! We loved our stay.

Miros is a great host, with awesome personal touches and great communication we’d definitely stay again. We enjoyed playing ping pong, and watching movies on the projector. Only word of caution, there are not many places to eat, 2 of the restaurants are closed on both Tuesday and Wednesday which left us with only one place to eat. But the house has a well stocked kitchen if you grab some groceries before arriving.

Breathtaking views

This place was perfect for us. We wanted a place away from the city and big enough for the whole family. Place was clean and we'll maintained. There was a game room down stairs stocked with movies and games to keep us all entertained. The view of the mountains was just breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting out in the back porch. There is a cute town about quarter mile down the road with small restaurant and shops. Wish we had more time to enjoy all there is to do there. Communication was great. We had all instructions on how to enter the morning of our arrival. Definitely would recommend this place.

We came to Jemez Springs to hike. We hiked all day and came home to grill out, shower, and get a good night sleep for the next day. Mom's Place had it all and we were very comfortable! Thank you so much!!!

Just what we needed!

Wonderful home away from home. Clean, comfy, welcoming! Great location a miles walk to “downtown” Jemez Springs! Parked the car and walked to town…sat by the stream at edge of property…sat on the sunny deck. Read, cooked meals, just tried to relax. Perfect getaway! Thanks for sharing this space!

Felt like home

This property felt like a second home. It was nicely decorated inside and out. My girls loved playing downstairs in the game room. The river access was nice to have, but be sure to bring some water shoes for the rocks in the river. The house was so conveniently located to the sites we visited including Jemez falls and the Las Conchas trailhead for some lovely scenic hikes about 20 minutes by car. We would definitely rent this house again. Miros is a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful time and appreciate all the thoughtfulness she put into the house.

Wonderful Access to River

My family had such a good time staying at Mom's Place. My son especially loved having our own private access point to the river. He did some fishing, and caught and released his first ever fish! He was so proud. We'll definitely try to come again. In addition, we accidentally left some supplements and medical supplies at the house, and Miros was so kind as to return them to us. Above and beyond.

Great trip!

We had a great time at this house. Location near soda dam and Jemez springs was ideal. Neighbors yard is a bit of a junkyard but the rest of the view is gorgeous and the neighbors yard didn’t bother us at all. The roosters and chickens made us feel right at home since we have chickens. The property manager Miros was pleasant, responsive, and super helpful. The house was clean and well stocked! We loved the river access and patio. We would come back!

We absolutely loved the house. It was beautiful and so comfortable. We felt at home the entire stay and we will be going back! The property manager was a delight to work with and so thoughtful and kind. The yard is beautiful and the kids loved having the water right there. We would love to stay again when the weather is warmer. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The blankets were cozy and my kids had an amazing time. The game room was perfect for family time. We are thrilled with our stay.

Great place!

I don’t have enough nice things to say about this house or Miros, the property manager. My family & I had an amazing time! The house was great. Miros was very attentive. The game room & movie room downstairs was a great addition to this house. This three bedroom two bath met all of our needs. The back porch & grill was great & the sound of the river flowing from the porch was so peaceful. Close drive to Soda dam & Los Ojos. We will definitely be back & will stay here again!

Amazing Property and Location

The mountain views from the kitchen eating area are enough make this a 5 star review. Add the outdoor seating and coffee by the river and you can't beat Mom's Place. The theater/ game room area make it fun for the kids too. I had excellent communication with the manager as well so I always felt well taken care of. It's right off the highway which makes getting there easy but leaving will be difficult. It's cozy and relaxing. Perfect for our family getaway.
