Great location on Lake Cherokee.
The house was very nice. We enjoyed the covered deck by the lake to play games and socialize. The only drawbacks of the house were terrible water pressure and the grill did not work after the first two nights. The water pressure was so bad that multiple times the showers had no water running from them even though no water was being used elsewhere in the house. We would stay at the house again if the water pressure issue would be fixed. The grill was an inconvenience but we were able to work around it.

Cherokee Lake home
This home aas very beautiful in a very secluded cove of Cherokee Lake! 5 minutes from town for easy access but rural enough for privacy! A pretty good inclined hill to get to lake. Patios were awesome with plenty of seating for a large party.

Friends Stay
We had a wonderful time at this lakefront property. Things we really liked: the large eating area and table, two kitchens, ample bathrooms, comfortable beds, the back porch and pavilion by the water, and the dock. We did have a few issues with the basement, but overall a great place if you can navigate the hills.

Location, location, location. Such bliss sitting out on the lower deck right on the water in the evening and sitting out in the upper deck with the trees in the morning. Perfection. Best sleep I've had in a while. I loved this place.

Very beautiful location!
This property was in a very beautiful location. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves, but wanted to give some info to future renters. These are NOT complaints, only information we wish we would have had. The following did not negatively effect our stay: 1. If you are coming in the colder months, bring extra blankets. There are barely enough for the beds in the home let alone anyone who may end up on the couch or other sleeping arrangements. 2. The King bed down stairs (master bedroom) in NOT adjustable as advertised. 3. Bring your own Toilet paper. Whatever is in the house feels worse than sand paper. And you only get two rolls per bathrooms. With 11 people, that goes quickly. We didn't use all that was provided due to the uncomfortableness of it. We purchased our own very quickly. 4. The reviews also listed some wonderful opportunities to use the kayaks provided on the property. While they are still there, they are no longer allowed to be used by renters. This was disheartening, but I guess we should have asked that directly before renting. 5. There is no beach. There are very sharp drop downs and only large rocks. This was partially due to us going so early in the season, but even with higher water levels, still no beach. If you are looking for a nice beach to relax on, this is not it. 6. There are LOTS of pillows and towels! You do not need to bring either of those! 7. If you go on any type of busy weekend or holiday, expect very delayed replies from the home owner/company. We sent a couple of texts and tried calling on several occasions. We were sent to voicemail and text were not answered until days later. They did explain that they were busy. Just an FYI! I was happy we didn't have any issues getting into the home or that could have turned out badly. Again, our family really enjoyed our visit and the home was beautiful!! Just some extra planning for the next visitor!

House is dated and needs some attention to maintenance. Low water pressure when the master bath toilet is flushed. Low water pressure in the kitchen . Contacted Vacasa about the problem and got no help from them! Burners on grill are burned out so it’s very difficult to use. Lights not working in the game room.

Comfortable beds, winding road and mountain driving for access, steep drive.
Nice place, but a bit tricky to get to the front door from the driveway. Better if you are looking to go to a destination and stay there to enjoy the quiet environments. We were driving back and forth into towns and all around, so it was a challenging location for us. Would recommend for a quiet get away.

Wonderful Stay at Liberty Port
The house was very nice. Great decks to see the lake from. Kitchen was well stocked. Black Oak Marina was very close. Only issue I saw was the fence gate was broken and didn't lock so we had to put chairs in front of it so our dog wouldn't get out.

A welcome retreat!
My group of 6 friends and one dog very much enjoyed this property! The place was exactly as advertised and perfect for a weekend lake retreat that we were all desperately needing this summer. The place was incredibly clean and well-stocked. We cooked dinner in the place 2 nights and had everything we could possibly need for cooking/prepping food. The fenced in backyard was large and perfect for my energetic dog! We enjoyed the dock and rented a boat from a place just minutes away. I have no complaints and would 100% book this place again for future get-aways!

Overall a Great Property
We arrived at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon and the house was ready for us. It was clean and the air conditioning was on! The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the pool table and games, and spent a lot of time outside on the decks. The only comments are that it is a very steep walk from the house to the lake. It might be challenging for some people. The lake, while clean and quiet, is somewhat rocky (you may want to bring water shoes) and gets very deep very fast. My 6’4 son dove off the end of the pier and couldn’t touch bottom. These aren’t negatives but just something to be aware of. The only negative is that we noticed when we arrived that part of the pier was only partially connected to the second part. We tried but couldn’t get it connected. We called vacasa but it never got fixed during the week we were there. It completely disconnected on our first full day there making it hard to get to the end of the pier. We called a second time, but ended up figuring out a way around it. If we were looking for this type of vacation again, we would consider staying at this property again. The weather was great and we had a great week!

Great Time with Family
The house was beautiful and the dock/lake/covered pavilion were a lot of fun. The only criticism... we arrived at check in time(4:00) and the cleaning lady was still working with quite a bit left to do. We are very patient people and realize that sometimes “things happen”, but we waited outside with toddlers for over an hour until it was ready. Otherwise a nice time.

Winter at the lake
Overall the property was fine. It was somewhat difficult to keep the cabin warm. The wood burning stove downstairs would not draw smoke out, so it couldn’t be used. It would be nice if the backyard was completely fenced in for small children and pets. I’m sure it’s much nicer in the warmer months!
