Nowhere to hang any towels. Bed uncomfortably hard, loud and creaky. No tissues. No trash in bathroom. Tiny bathroom barely room for a slender person. Loud fan. Room windows filthy. Can hear right through walls. Open rack at face level for hook style hangers hard to use, easy to hit your head. Who is rating this 8/10? Poor. Lobby made to look modern don’t be fooled.

New Bern is a fun town to visit. This is a nice hotel because it puts you within walking distance to downtown. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms were clean and the people were nice. The price is a tad high for what you get in the room but you are paying more for the good location so it evens out.

The first run I was in had a smell like it was recently flooded or something. I woke up the next morning and turned the light on and there were roaches scattered across the night stand next to the bed. I would have moved hotels but it was MumFest so all hotels were booked. They moved me to another hotel room which was better but I couldn’t sleep knowing it was roaches crawling around in the there.
