Rough stay, at best.

The front desk service was wonderful! She was kind and helpful. That was the only good thing about our stay. The one elevator was broken and the buttons on the other were barely holding on by some literal thread. The room smelled horrible! There were giant stadium lights just outside our room on the third floor. We tried to pull the black-out screen on the window but even that did not keep the light out entirely. The bathroom was kind of cleanish but not one I would be willing to shower in. The only spaces left to park in were in dark and secluded areas where I did not feel safe walking. The desk area was dirty and broken, making it difficult to try to eat there once I arrived. I will not stay here again!

Property was well maintained and clean. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great continental breakfast. Only negative was computer in lobby didn't work to print out boarding passes.

Bad experience

This hotel was advertised as the best option in Clinton. The rooms smelled musty and moldy. I asked to be moved from the 1st room and 2nd room was not much better. Of the 2 elevators one was out of order my entire stay of 6 days. The pool was also closed my entire stay. The water was green and cloudy. This is July in the Deep South with heat index over 100 and their pool was closed!! The guest laundry room was dirty. Washers needed to be cleaned. They had supply issues: the last day of stay coffee cup lids finally showed up. There was no butter the first day for waffles and toast. Only 2 days did fresh fruit show up at breakfast. The sink in my bathroom wouldn’t hold water and the shower doors did not close all the way and leaked water all over the floor. The mini fridge did not have a freezer compartment. I will say the staff was very nice and friendly.

The property was clean but the shower door in my room didn’t close. That created a puddle of water on the floor each time I showered.

The map directions took you to a different hotel, the elevator buttons were so worn you couldn’t see what floor you were on, the mini frig was iced over, and the little store was practically bare. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great stay

All we needed here was one night of sleep in a clean bed and we definitely got that. Every employee I encountered was professional and very nice. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in w similar price and amenities this was the cleanest room and nicest employees I've ever experienced!
