This is a lovely little spot. I enjoyed the coziness and atmosphere. It’s located between Cornell and the downtown area, so convenient for accessing both. I would definitely stay here again!

The Dorm Hotel has undergone a major refurbishment, the bedrooms albeit quite small are well equipped (air conditioning, electricity, good shower). The staff is very helpful and friendly. Free coffee and teabags are offered and there is a choice of snacks and alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to visit friends or relatives studying at Cornell University.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the makeover of the interior of the building compared to when I had last been in there over a decade ago. My room was clean, modern and efficient, but I was really let down by an issue with a building-wide vibration due to an air conditioner that sounded like a washing machine on the spin cycle. This went on throughout my entire stay. When I told the person at the front desk about it, they had obviously heard about it before, so that leads me to believe that it has been an ongoing issue. They did try to find me another room. Unfortunately it was the one right next door to mine and it had the same problem. I'm assuming that this will be fixed soon and when it is, I would then give the hotel a very high rating.

Great place to stay if in area

Totally awesome little big house. Nice clean rooms and much bigger than you would think. Enjoyed our room, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the place had some unique items to grab and go if needed

It’s was a great experience in a room set up like a dorm! The uniqueness of the wall art committed to Cornell was amazing. The whole concept and experience was awesome. Would do it again! It is literally at one of the exits/entrance to Cornell.
