Conveniently located with the beach on one side of the property and one of the Wild Dunes golf courses on the other, this ocean facing Mariner's Walk villa promises an Isle of Palms vacation you'll always remember. Relax with your morning coffee on the spacious screened porch, take long afternoon walks on the neighboring ocean beach, and cool off in the sparkling waters of the community's swimming pool. Recent additions include new twin beds (November 2023), and a new tankless water heater (installed December 2023).

This 1,064-square-foot condo is just a few minutes' walk from the ocean beach, so you'll never be far from swimming, sunbathing, and beautiful views of the shoreline. Take your pick of the Links and Harbor Golf Courses at Wild Dunes, both of which are in the immediate area, or hop in the car for a quick drive to the shops, restaurants, and entertainment in the downtown area of Isle of Palms four miles west. The Isle of Palms Marina is just over two miles west, and downtown Charleston - full of history and world-class cuisine - is 15 miles inland.

A clean and conveniently located condo!
My family and I have vacationed in Isle of Palms for 16 years. We stayed at Mariners Walk the majority of the time, including in this condo three separate vacations. It's close to the beach and pool, and it's nice and clean.

Great family spot right on the beach
This condo is well kept, clean and with all the amenities we needed for a great beach stay. The location was amazing—literally walk out the door past the pool to the beach in less than 5 min. It was a quick drive to the store and restaurants, etc. while still feeling away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

The transition to Vacasa was a little confusing. Instructions on check in were inconsistent. The place was nice though. No complaints at all with the place we stayed at.

If you love cold showers this one is for you!
Property positives: nice lay out with screened in porch close walking distance to beach. Negatives about property: dirty with hair in bathroom, exposed wires in master bedroom and the TV upstairs doesn’t work properly. Things reported on arrival for our 4 night stay: broken door facing with nails exposed, upstairs commode leaks, no cleaning products available. The worst thing reported was no hot water. We had one hot shower the entire 4 days stay. This was reported with no since of urgency from guest services at Vacasa. Instead they stated it was a known issue and to pretty much run the water longer to get the hot water. We ran one shower over an hour one evening and still no hot water. Horrible customer service. We have been coming to IOP for over 20 years and it’s sad that the property and guests are being ignored.

Beautiful condo and place!
We had a relaxing, wonderful stay. We were able to see a nice view of the sunrise from the master bedroom that we enjoyed. Also there are so many golf clubs in the area to choose from. One being so close you could walk to. If your not into golf or tennis, which some of us opted not to, we enjoyed a beautiful short walk to a beautiful shopping area and had a great cup off coffee and then rented electric bikes and rode them down the beach. Had the best time. We all enjoyed relaxing at the beach and enjoying the sunshine. This unit was spacious and had plenty of bathrooms. It was cute and comfortable and best of all clean. We would book again.

Mariner's Walk 8A
It was a decent place with just a few minor flaws...it was very clean, but the furnishings were pretty run down. There is a broken cupboard door broken/off hinges when you open it. The twin bed room vanity/medicine cabinet is broken of in pieces on the top. and the towel bar has torn drywall. Condensation drips from the air conditioning vent. The closet on the screened in porch is full of broken junk. The TV's in the bedrooms don't work. The dryer makes a horribel whining noise. The pool was not maintained very well. OTherwise, a decent place, location and it was very clean.

Surprisingly nice!
Nice and cozy but as the time progressed we noticed that it was not very clean. Dirty dishes were a real turnoff. Previous renters hair throughout master bath was disgusting. Lastly having to walk through the flooded swamp to get to the beach was no fun. None the less we are considering a stay again next year. We are hoping someone will consider making improvements. Thank you.

A nice, quaint, location.
I had been to Isle of Palms 20 years ago when I was a kid, and it really has not changed. That isn't a bad thing as that was exactly what I was hoping to bring my family to now. The condo was clean and had all the basics we needed. It is a short distance to the pool and just a bit further to the beach. I love how intimate the condo is, and how friendly the people we met were. Our kids played and had a good time, and the place was a great reminder of my childhood. I was very happy with this unit and Isle of Palms.

Family Beach Trip
We rented two units at Mariner's Watch (Wild Dunes) for a family trip. The property is great! No issues with check-in, great pool and beach area. Very nice resort. The only issue we had is that on Saturday evening we tried to go out to eat and had a 1 hr and 30 min drive to get from Wild Dunes to the IOP connector to get off the island. With few dining options on the resort and heavy traffic to get off the island, we will probably avoid this location during peak beach season.

Poor beds, tv and DW didn’t work
The TVs didn’t work on cable mode. Called twice and no one came to fix it. The beds were very uncomfortable and the twin headboards were very loose and leaned towards the bed. The dishwasher didn’t work. We didn’t find out until leaving but don’t it would have been fixed in timely fashion anyway based on our lack of response to the TVs not working

Overall, the property was neat and clean and in close proximity to the beach. The kitchen was updated and nicely equipped as well as the other rooms. However, the TVs need to be upgraded. Very poor quality and the patio area could use some sprucing up (i.e. updated painting and screen cleaning).
