Great Stay

Stayed overnight after a concert. The venue was across the street, so it was super convenient. The staff were extremely nice and everything was clean. The shower was amazing!

Overall it was a nice property. One of the elevators was not functioning properly which was a bit inconvenient but manageable. Quick and easy check in/out. Large room and they had a crib for the baby.

The hotel and room were nice but there were unfortunate issues. The temperature in the room was controlled by a motion sensor thermostat which doesn’t display the actual temp just the setting. It seemed to not operate at night unless someone got up and walked around. We did not sleep well. The room had poor lighting which required many individual lamps to be switched on and off instead of a light switch. Coffee and breakfast buffet were not included and cost more than the sit down breakfast across the street. A do not disturb sign was not in the room and the room service came into our room while my wife was showering a couple hours before checkout.

We stayed here one night. When booking, the room included 2 free breakfasts. This was not honored. The staff claimed to have no record of this and it was highly embarrassing. I finally was able to locate the information on the third party’s site that I had used to book the room but was not treated well by staff when I informed them I had paid- I was made to feel like a liar. It was very inappropriate and unprofessional. I will not stay at this location again based on this incident.

Very nice hotel with a comfortable bed, nice seating area, and good water pressure. They welcomed my Olde English bulldogge, Zeke, for a fee of course. It is conveniently located near Marshall University, and there are several dining and shopping locations within a few minutes walk.

My only gripe was the parking. I had to park in the parking garage behind the hotel which I later learned they validate in full the parking and have reserved spots inside the garage for overflow. I just wish I would have known this before arriving. Other than this, the hotel was very clean, each and every staff member went above and beyond to help. Room was quiet and cozy… very happy with the room. Will stay here again if given the opportunity.

The room we booked on line was completely different then the picture of what we had chosen. I needed that specific room for my son with needs. The sink drain wouldnt stay open and we couldnt wash our hands or brush our teeth. When we went to desk, she gave us free breakfast passes and said she was so sorry. She was actually extremely nice, but my room purchase came woth free breakfast already. We will not stay here again due to this.
