Deep water, year round, lake front home with fantastic deck overlooking mountains, lake, boat dock, large-flat yard. Enjoy the fire pit or indoor fireplace and gas grill. Home includes master-suite (king), guest room (queen), bunk room (2 bunk beds) and two full bathrooms. The bonus room also includes a futon (full) and twin bed. Kayaks are available (additional fees), parking available for 3 cars, no smoking, and no pets. Brasstown Bald, GA Mountain Fair Grounds, hiking trails, vineyards, and plenty of boat rental companies, restaurants, breweries, and shops are in the area! Kayaks and lily pad are available for rental as well, just reach out!

Family Lake House

The description of the house in VRBO is accurate. The neighborhood is quiet but also close to Hiawasee. If you like the outdoors, there is plenty to do. We went hiking, ziplining, and visited Helen. The house has plenty of lake activities and games. Overall, it was a great vacation.

Great waterfront lakehouse on Chatuge

Such a great and relaxing weekend on the lake. Hiked around the area. Shopped and dined in Hiawassee just 3 minutes away. Clean, roomy, great view. Definitely a great lakefront mountain house that we will surely return to.

Fantastic Stay!

Beautiful Weekend

We hit a great weekend for weather and leaves. One story house was great for my mother and also my granddaughter. Besides the view of the lake my favorite part of the house was the kitchen. Plenty of space to move around. We will definitely be back.

Birthday vacation

Great place to stay close to shops, restaurants and nightlife . We did not have the best weather but we made the most of our stay. Meredith was great with communication and answered quickly. We were in the house during hurricane Helena and some damage to the house and she responded very quickly. Will definitely stay again hopefully better weather next time

Beautiful getaway for the whole family

Second year staying in this lake front property. Loved the upgrades to the outside furniture/pillows and inside to the curtains. Overall much happier with our second stay and definitely look forward to booking next year. It is such a quiet getaway for the whole family with lots to do. The water toys are awesome and the fish gear too. My teenager and grand boys loved the lily pad and fishing off the dock. The adults enjoyed the back porch and the kayaks. Only suggestions I have are adding new pictures to website to show upgrades and providing a blower to blow off the back porch from pine needles. Can’t wait till next year or before!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary! The location was so pretty and rather quiet. It had everything we needed, including floats, etc for the lake.

If you want a very quiet place to spend time with the family and building memory’s this place is for you, plus the view s of the lake and mountains are amazing. Check in and communication with the home owner was second to none.

Our favorite so far!

Great location, no steep inclines to get to it. Very well stocked kitchen and linens. Beds are comfortable and the home sits on a deep part of Lake Chatuge, we were able to fish in November and caught nice size blue gill and large channel cats. We enjoy Hiawassee 2 - 3 times a year and this will definitely be our go to!

Great Fall Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Good location to check out other spots like Dahlonega, Helen, Vogel State Park and Brasstown Bald and still have access to a lake. We were disappointed that the water level was low but were still able to use kayaks.

Our stay at this lake front home was great. The house was beautifully decorated inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, and spices - you should check it out before going to the grocery store (which is less than 10 minutes away.) Check in and check out was very simple. We look forward to returning.
