The location was great and the property was comfortable. It does need some updates. The water pressure is terrible and the fan in one of the bedrooms doesn’t work. Overall great property but does need some cleaning and updates

Nice, quiet retreat

Nice, spacious, quiet property well away from the Gulf Shores Parkway congestion. Our group of 13 adults, teens and children were easily accommodated. There are, however, several maintenance issues that should be addressed. VRBO: Please contact me for a detailed list.

Everything was perfect. If I had to try and find a flaw - it was that Vasaca did not have anything available for infants - no highchair and no pack-n-play and the lady my daughter spoke to was not that friendly about it. But that has nothing to do with the home - that I could not find a flaw if I tried They even had extras like a closet full of kids toys, and all the right cooking supplies (pots, pans, dishes, etc - we have often had to go out and purchase some staying in other homes). Thanks so much to the owners. and I will keep the home in mind for our next trip.

Great location!

Great house! We stayed there for a family vacation for the week. There were 8 adults and 4 kids - the house was right on the beach and was big - with lots of inside and outdoor space to hang out - so we weren’t right on top of each other. Beach toys were provided for the kids which was an extra bonus. Good location - about 15 minutes from all the local restaurants. We are planning on staying there again next year.

Nice place but needs a few touches & deep cleaning

Overall this property is in a good location with quick access to beach and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things noted that would improve our rating: most notably the house needs to be deep cleaned/maintained to remove stains on furniture and fix cracked tiles in floor. HVAC system needs some maintenance or something because there were definitely sections of the house that did not have good air flow. We did appreciate the extra refrigerator in the house and the standalone ice maker. A few items in the kitchen would help - a cookie sheet and pot holders for instance; and one charcoal grill had a cooking grate completely missing. Net: a little TLC would go a long way in helping this property become a 4-5 star rental

Perfect and easy

Booking, check-in/out couldn’t be any easier. The home was perfect with plenty of room for toddlers and adults to hang out together. The main deck is very large with extra comfy chairs. The beach is private and right there! It just couldn’t have been a better time with our entire family in one place. We’ll be back!

Awesome Stay!

This home was the perfect size for our group and very comfortable. There was no grill - there wasn’t one listed in the amenities but it’s usually a standard provision. The kitchen had every tool needed to make great meals and two fridges was a huge plus. Be aware! The spacing of the rails in the deck is wide - a small child would fit through - not toddler safe.

Family Spring Break Trip

Beautiful property on the beach in a quiet location. Large enough for 11 people to stay comfortably. We loved the enormous deck and proximity to the ocean. The only drawback was the kitchen was not as well stocked as other Vrbo rentals we have had in the past. This location is not within walking distance to the hub of the activity in Gulf Shores, but that was one thing that we liked about it, because it was in a quiet location.

Excellent beach house and price!

We absolutely loved this beach house. The location was not far from all the stores and restaurants, but it also wasn’t right on top of the crowded condo area. We loved that the house was right on the beach and that it had a sandy area under the house for the kids to play too. Everything we needed was in the house already including a coffee pot, mixer, crockpot and an ice maker. Having two fridges was very convenient too and we used one for food and one for drinks. The large space was amazing and the kids had plenty of room to play! Overall, everything was excellent. The only issue we had was that the top of the stove was cracked. Check in and check our was very easy and convenient. We would definitely rent this house again!

Perfect

Rally Point - Great for families

We loved this property for our three families - 7 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space to spread out. Loved the open concept! Plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. We loved the four tall deck chairs - would have been nice to have more of those, they were the best to see over the railing of the deck. There was a canopy left on the property and also sand toys. It was so nice having the extra beds in all the rooms. The kiddos might have had a sleepover in different rooms on different nights! We spent so much time out on the deck and down at the beach. So nice to have our area in front of our house all to ourselves. The kitchen had two refrigerators, definitely a plus! A few minor repairs were needed - some of the tile was cracked in the kitchen going to the bunk room, one child cut his toe, so that might be addressed. We placed the rug over it. Also the outside steps looked like they would need to be replaced within the next year. We called maintenance about fixing an electrical outlet that wasn't working. They had a guy out the next day. Also the air conditioning filters needed changed and he had to order a new one. My biggest complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom needs replaced! Big dips in the sleeping area and a high ridge in the middle. No one else complained about their mattresses. I know that as with any house, there will always be maintenance needed and updates made, but as far as our family vacation, it was perfect for us. Would definitely go back, of course, after the mattress had been replaced!!!
