The Blue Oasis is due west from downtown Gulf Shores on Highway 180 . It is 5 miles west from downtown on the quiet side of Little Lagoon. Beach time is just minutes away. Head west 1 mile on Hwy 180 and south on Mobile Street to the closest public beach access with public parking and boardwalk. Borrow our beach chairs, boogie boards, toys and beach wagon for all day fun in the sun!
If you enjoy walking, the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge trail head is 500 yards west of the house near Gator Lake. Stop at the observatory or hike a mile to the Gulf of Mexico before your hike back.
For all you golfer enthusiasts , the 18-hole Peninsula Golf Club (1 mile East) lies on Mobile Bay. Check out Kiva Dunes or Golf Club of the Wharf (5 minutes). For more golfing fun head to the 36 hole Palmer Golf at Craft Farms, Cotton Creek or Cypress Bend (10 minutes).
Guests have full access to the home and private pier. Little Lagoon is approximately 4-5 ft. deep. Do NOT dive from the pier!
The Blue Oasis vacation home has it all . Kayak and paddle boarding off your own private pier or try a little fishing. The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, pot filler, commercial ice maker, wine/beer fridge, dishwasher, large refrigerator and a walk-in pantry. All kitchen essentials including dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, and small appliances! Fire up the grill off the living room deck.
Sleeps up to 17 in our furnished bedrooms! The main floor master suite (bedroom #1) boasts a king size bed, twin sleeper sofa, smart TV and grand master bath with soaker tub and double headed glass shower. Access the deck from the master to enjoy coffee and breakfast overlooking the lagoon.
Upstairs the kids can enjoy a custom built bunk room (bedroom #2) that sleeps 6 in 2 sets of twin over queen bunks. This room has a smart TV and private full bath. Bedrooms #3 and #4 are also upstairs- each with queen beds, patio door to front deck and a shared Jack and Jill bathroom. On the landing overlooking the main living space is a daybed with a trundle below that sleeps 2 which is a great place for the teens to hang out. The open living room offers a large smart TV and sectional sofa that pulls out to a queen sleeper comfy for 2. Other amenities include WiFi, washer/dryer and plenty of parking.

Outdoor fun awaits! On site enjoy your own white sandy beach and private pier. Use our beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for fun in the sand. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BEACH TOWELS. Access the water from a gradual slope for wading, floating and swimming . Take out our 2 kayaks for a fun time on the lagoon. Want to put your balance to the test? Try out our paddle board! Put your boat in at the ramp (1 mile east) and dock it at our pier. Catch trout, redfish and more off the pier or try baiting our crab traps!
Things to do and see! Beach time at the Gulf is minutes away. Head west (5 minutes) on Hwy 180 and south on Mobile Street to the closest public beach, with parking and boardwalk access. Want to be in the heart of Gulf Shores? A short drive east (10 minutes) on Hwy 180 and south on Hwy 59 will bring you to Gulf Shores Beach near the Hangout and other great local dives! Escape the crowd at Gulf State Park (20 minutes). Borrow our beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards and beach wagon for all day fun.
Take a morning walk on the gravel paths of Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge (500 yards west of the house) through coastal swamp to Gator Lake. Jump in the Gulf to cool off before your hike back!
