Boardwalk 1085 – A Special Unit:
Back in the early days, BW1085 was affectionately known as “The Penthouse” for good reason. It has the largest living room of any unit in the building providing: 20 ft. of southern glass wall giving you a panoramic view of ocean and beach, Large floor space for all of you to stretch out and not feel cramped. *(We sometimes used to line the floor with sleeping bags and air mattresses for our kids and their friends). The extra bathroom is always handy even if it’s just the two of you. Total floor space indoors is larger than 2-bedroom units at Boardwalk. This is a non-smoking no-pet condo right on the beach. Check out the photos and rental pricing. We hope you will choose Boardwalk Condominium and BW1085.
Boardwalk Condominium has 70 Units on 10 Floors, not too big and not too small. It’s just right. Gigantic pool deck running the entire length of the building. Even during the busy season you’re not crowded for sunbathing or just relaxing on provided lounge chairs. The pool is heated during the cooler seasons. Step off the pool deck right onto the sugar white beach. Elevators of course, and permanent barbecue grills if you enjoy outdoor cooking. Restaurants - There are three within a very short walking distance from Boardwalk. The popular ‘Sea-n-Suds’ is right next door also on the beach. Nice view from outside deck. Also, near are ‘The Island House’ and a ‘Waffle House’ is across the street. You may have seen The National Shrimp Festival and the Hangout Musical Festival on TV. They Both take place ½ mile to the west of Boardwalk as do the NCAA National Beach Volleyball Championships. This is the Public Beach Area of Gulf Shores – very nice to stroll through. To the east of Boardwalk, also about ½ mile is the Gulf State Park, scenic for nature lovers.
For a vacation Gulf Shores has much to offer: Golf, Fishing, Swimming, Tennis, Shopping, Dining. Other places to visit include the Outlet Mall and OWA in Foley, Waterville Theme Park, Adventure Island, Gulf Shores Zoo, Fort Morgan Historic Site, Ferry to Dauphin Island, National Aviation Museum (Pensacola), and much more. There is plenty to do for kids and adults alike.
