Great place

We originally had room 1001 but changed after 1 night due to the overwhelming musty smell. There are holes next to the glass door and window allowing rain to get into the substrate. All the staff were absolutely amazing-so pleasant and friendly.

This was our second stay at Island House Hotel .. We totally enjoyed everything that this hotel has to offer with comfortable clean peaceful stay & the staff was excellent with check in & out & house keeping kept on top restocking our rooms during our stay .. We enjoyed our stay everything was great. We only had one problem. There was no "USB C" charging stations in the room. There was a wireless charging station, but it would not charge thru our cases. We should have brought our plugs to charge our phones. Good thing we had a battery with us to charge our phones for the two days we stayed.

The property was very nice inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were too high and difficult to get in to. The mattress was too firm, the pillows were too soft and the thread count on the sheets could have been better. Also needed some repair on the boardwalk. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
