I have stayed here multiple times; could use some refreshing & more comfortable chairs. On arrival, I received a text asking about any issues with condo. I had a few & most were addressed ASAP. A representative was sent and EJ was friendly & helpful. Very pleased with service. I will stay here again! Please report issues or they can’t be fixed!

Why pay Mid range prices for low-end accommodations. Positives and Negatives
We all say we don't spend that much time in the condo, but I still want to know I'm getting the value I'm paying for... Management Company: Vacasa needs to go. I've never had to provide personal information to the Management Company to get access to a condo. I've used VRBO several times now, and once paid, all has been good. Vacasa said they needed to know who was going to be in their property. Well, just because I can tell you where I lived in 1974, doesn't mean I'm the one going to your property. Too invasive for no good reason. Building: Pool and rest rooms are nice. Elevators are fast and hardly had to wait for them. Poorly insulated. Nothing done to mute noises from condo above. Whenever anyone flushes a toilet, you can hear it through the walls. Reminiscent of old hotels. Condo Positives: Great location - very convenient Excellent view from balcony Master bed is firm but comfy Shower water pressure and temp are very good Condo Opportunities ( I have pics but can't upload to review): Serious need of TLC Microwave has sign - do not use. They do have a new one on the counter as a substitute. Kitchen ceiling tray has extensive dust balls Floor tiles (as mentioned on another review) are loose. Carpets and area rug are filthy. I wouldn't walk in bare feet. Tile grout in high traffic areas is dark black versus light gray in areas of non use. Master bedroom light cover missing, but the lightbulbs work. The many artificial plants are old, dusty and really just need to go. The master bedroom shower door does not close all the way. Furniture in kitchen/living room not comfy. My husband sat in the accent chair and his bottom nearly hit the floor. Pantry door paint by handle is worn to the bare wood. The Condo needs a deep clean, repairs and updating.

We loved the condo Building San Carlos Condos. Our unit 1208 for the price needs major update. The Carpet in the bedrooms are nasty. Full of stains. Master bed mattress is uncomfortable. Furniture in living room is worn out and uncomfortable. The decor is very outdated along with the colors for the price it’s being rented. . I would not rent this unit again but I would rent a more satisfying unit at San Carlos.

This condo was in a great location (within walking distance) to restaurants and shopping. The views of the Gulf were incredible. The unit itself could use some updating. The shower door in master bathroom didn’t close, the blender was broken, and there were no extra sheets or blankets for the fold out bed. We found several items from previous guests under chairs, bed, etc. so cleaning crew is a little suspect. Towels provided were so cheap and thin you could see thru them. Despite all this the stay was ok, and the overall complex is great.

Property was spacious, looks to be an older unit. A few tiles busted in the kitchen, part of the microwave was broke and taped together, and master shower door wouldn’t shut. We weren’t in the condo that much during our stay, but could use a little updating. Location was great, and views were awesome.

Not Exactly As Expected
What can you say about a property that didn’t have even the basics such as toilet paper!! No kidding - when we checked into the unit there was no toilet paper anywhere. Not only that, but the kitchen didn’t even have the basics such as glasses and cookware - not even a sheet pan or pizza pan not to mention very many cooking utensils. I give the manager in the VACASA office 10 stars however because when we let her know that we needed wash cloths and toilet paper she had it all waiting for us to pick up at the office down the street. Not only that, she showed up later with glassware, cutting boards, utensils and cookware for us. I am so sorry we didn’t get her name because she was awesome. Whoever owns this unit needs to take more pride in it. Broken tiles, a sliding door that was almost impossible to close, a shower door that was wonky and a garbage disposal that doesn’t work gives the appearance that they really don’t care. I speak wit experience because we own a vacation rental in Gatlinburg and would NEVER allow our property to get in such shape. We always make certain the kitchen is stocked with anything and everything someone might possibly need during their stay. We will definitely rent from VACASA again but will never book this unit in the future.

Overall, condo is beautiful, showing some wear, bed was very uncomfortable, squeaky, needs new sofa and chair in living area, cushions stained, sinks when sitting, indoor jacuzzi tub didn’t work, shower door and patio doors don’t latch properly. Floor tiles are broken, needs work! Disappointed!

We loved the view! It was amazing, however, the people directly above us at almost midnight, decided to be as loud as possible. Tried getting in touch with security and was informed they no longer work for them, well guess what, nobody returned my call about it. So my infant was screaming and crying bc of the yelling, loud music and CONSTANT slamming of the doors, along with the squealing and screaming from them off the balcony…. We wish we could have enjoyed it more but sometimes the noise level of the neighbors kills the positive vibe of the vacay you and your family go on. I do wish that the keys in the tub would have worked, but they did not. Also the tiles between the kitchen and living area were broken and hidden with a rug so my 1 year old fell numerous times on it.

Happy 43rd Anniversary!
The condo was GREAT! Beautiful view and very nice. The owners were so thoughtful and left us a beautiful card and chocolates for our special day. The mix up for us was with parking. We had a parking pass but were not allowed to park in the covered area due to construction. I called the rental agency and was told that we did have authorization to park in the covered area but the property guards outside San Carlos would not allow us to enter. (There were other vehicles parked under the building .) We parked across the street which was fine since it was February. Otherwise I think it would have been very difficult to cross the street in traffic to get back and forth to our condo. (No crossing light) Not really a complaint but was confusing and property guards had no idea other than "can not enter" . Would definitely recommend and would stay again for sure!

Overall our stay was good. There was a lot of construction going on and we were told on our second day that we could not park in the condo parking lot and had to park across the street. So that was inconvenient and was not communicated to us before we checked in

Best trip so far!
We have stayed in GS several times in the past at various places. This was by far our best one yet. Perfect location, well manicured and debris-free beach, immaculate pool, and the condo was well furnished. I won’t be looking anywhere else to stay next time we make the trip from Dallas.

Long weekend fall break
Room was nice. View was great! The room was supposed to sleep 6 with a sofa sleeper; however, the sofa sleeper was broken.. Two of us had to sleep on the floor. I feel like it was known that the sleeper was broken because the rail that was broken off was placed under the couch. If sleeper is replaced, room would be great.
