3 Palms West is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 870 sqft. dog friendly duplex, sleeping 6, located in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Large party? You can rent both sides of this duplex! There is an easy access door that connects both properties. Each side sleeps 6 for a total of 12 if you rent the entire duplex.

Even larger party? We also manage the house directly next door (it's called “Hook, Wine, & Sinker”). It sleeps 8. If you rent both the duplex and the house next door, you will have sleeping accommodations for 20.

***This property is dog friendly; however, you must notify the staff that you are bringing your dog along with you. We require and additional dog fee of $250.00 to cover the excess cleaning from dog hair. This is a 2 dog max both 40 pounds or less. ***

The main level offers a cozy living area with new sleeper sofa, love seat, coffee table and coastal décor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pots, pans, cooking utensils, & plates & glassware you'll need to make yourself at home during your Gulf Shores vacation. Also on the main level is a half bath, small dining table, bar area, and the kitchen opens up to a large deck that is shared with the other side of the duplex. Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed and a Guest Bedroom with a Queen size bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The Master Bedroom opens up to a large balcony that is shared with the other side of the duplex. This duplex is dog friendly with payment of a non-refundable dog fee of $250.00 which covers the extra cleaning required due to dog hair.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 2 car max no passes required.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

15th trip to Gulf Shores. We were there for Hurricane Sally and survived with no running water or electricity. Felt comfortable inspite. This trip......After a 16 hour drive we arrived at unit. 96 degrees, 2 Garbage cans under entry stairs full of rotten food. Insects galore. Code for unit was wrong, took 30 minutes to get a code that worked. Unit was not as in photos or cleaned well. Got code for second unit that seemd cleaner. Photos in add had pics from both units. Decieving. We were told to stay in it. Later we looked on line and realized both units were rented so, not wanting to be in someone elses unit when they arrived we cleaned it and we moved at midnight to correct unit. Light bulbs burnt out. Light on back deck broken off wall. Conduits covering wires rotted away and wires exposed. Dishwasher leaked all over floor everytime we used it. Washer and dry on ground level in room full of broken toys, tools, and debris. Roaches running eveywhere. Found dead roaches in washer. Didnt even open dryer. Won't go there again.. Literally 1 block walk from beach access!! And the location was great! We were able to walk almost every where. The place had everything we needed to make our trip great! And budget friendly. It was clean. Back deck was great! Not a thousand things to do before u leave like some rentals, just common sense stuff like dishes and air conditioning. Overall very satisfied with our stay, thanku so much 😁

The property wasn't as described. First the front steps were rotten on several of the 14 steps. Door frame rotted through at bottom. Upstairs patio was also rotting. I was totally afraid to go on patio. The washer and dryer was in a horrible room cluttered with everything. It smells terrible. I did not use because of the odor in room. I have rented from Beach Ball before was very satisfied with those but this one is not as described. Needs some TLC real bad before someone gets hurt. Neighbors were fine,however I could hear most of the activity in their side. Needs insulation really bad.

After we made the booking we got an email that said there would be a 250$ for pets, The ice maker was broken and run ice and water out that we had to clean up. The ac quit. The outside steps had holes in them. It needs a good cleaning.

Priced wonderfully for this location. We were within walking distance to the beach, bars, stores and restaurants. We absolutely loved it. We were able to do laundry, save some money by eating a few meals at the condo.

Great for Last Minute Trip
4 Stars due to condition of steps and decks: badly need work! Back deck staircase was blocked probably due to poor condition. I was prepared for lots of steps but all were uneven and deteriorated. This is not a property for anyone with any issues with steps. The unit was very clean and comfortable and adequately supplied unless you want to cook at the beach (we didn't). Washer/Dryer was nice but in the very lowest level so again, the steps were a problem with a load of laundry. We only washed towels. Wile the property is not on the beach, there is easy beach access 2 blocks away. Nice restaurants in walking distance and the location of traffic lights really helped with getting on the main roads with the hectic Spring Break traffic. Our college girls had a great time which was why we came. My bestie and I enjoyed quality time together as well. Except for those darn rotten steps!!

Great budget friendly location
The location is superb. Walking distance to dining & some stores & beach. Across the street from the beach. The place is older and needs some repairs ( deck boards, some storm rot) but it is clean and totally ok- especially for the budget conscience. Neighborhood is quiet and felt safe walking at night

Everything was all set up for our move in upon arrival. They took care of putting garbage out for pickup & put away. Called Beachball Properties about the bad shape of microwave via email late one evening and a new one was dropped off the next morning. Very nice side by side condo only 1 block from the beach. The 2 decks were outfitted with heavy furniture & 1 Weber grill to share. Worked out great!

Loved being able to walk to all the nearby shops, restaurants, and beach. One thing I would change is remove door ajoining the duplexes and insulate that wall. You can hear your neighbors as if they are in the same room as you.

The property was decent
The property was located in a decent place. Within a two block walk to the waterfront. There were shops and stores nearby. The house was fairly clean. They could use a shower curtain on the shower. When you took a shower all the water would end up flooding the bathroom floor. I had to clean out the laundry room underneath the house. I swept it and wipe down the washer and dryer because they were filthy. The propertyCould stand to have regular yard maintenance. It looks like it hasn’t been done in quite some time. And the decks could stand to be replaced. You shouldn’t walk out there in bare feet. Definitely need some maintenance. Other than that good location and decent furnishings etc. everything we needed

Great location too many fees
We booked for Feb 2021 about a week and a half from our stay. Well 3days before we had a huge Ice storm and were not sure if we could get from Louisiana to Gulf Shores so I emailed the company to see if we could cancel. Since it was within 2weeks of our arrival we could NOT cancel or even have the option to reschedule! Also we were originally going to bring my friends dog so she wouldn't have to board her. I had saw the 300 penalty fee if you did not tell them you were bringing a dog and they found hair but not the pet fee which is usually 10-20 a night. We were staying 4nights. They tried to charge 250 pet fee!! Needless to say we kept her home with family. Then there was dog hair on the sofa anyway! So much for the "extra" cleaning fee for having a pet. The downstairs bathroom toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall and a maintenance man had come in to repair the light down there. Also there was a section of wall upstairs where the drywall needed to be re-taped. The whole stay was less than 600 so we felt that all the extra fees were really excessive. Overall we had a good time and the condo was decent because of the location. I defiantly plan to go back to Gulf Shores but will try and stay away from this property.

Great location
This place has a really clean full bath and amazing location. It is a few minutes walk from the beach. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night. Both bedrooms were very comfy and we had all the basic supplies. The only complaint is there was only one trash bag which got used up pretty quickly. I would recommend this spot and will be using this company again for my next vacation.

We didn't love so much: the laundry is located outside the unit under the house and it was dirty/disorganized in the area where it was housed, the property management would not allow us to check in early.

This was a beautiful house & I was excited about being able to find it within a week of going down. Check in & check out process was super easy! The porch on the upper level has creaky boards & cracks...we didn’t even use it. There’s a huge hole in the closet in one of the bedrooms that’s black all the way down the wall & moldy. The shower was moldy. The washer & dryer ARE NOT in the unit. They are downstairs in a creepy closet thats filled with spider webs & a bunch of crap. Some of the utensils in the kitchen were rusty & old. The grass wasn’t cut like in the pictures...it was awfully tall. But, the house is in walking distance with the beach, a liquor store, & a souvenir shop. Communication with personnel was super easy! Having WiFi was great, comfy beds & couches, small tv in one of the rooms, a/c worked great, back porch was great for grilling & chilling. There’s lots of glasses for drinks. Will return if small problems are fixed!

Relaxing family get-a-way
Our family had a great time staying at 3 Palms West. The place was clean and inviting upon arrival. The beach is only a short walk across the street which was convenient for our family with 5 kids. There is a very nice souvenir shop within walking distance. The check in and check out process was a breeze. We did have AC issues, but the property manager fixed it in a timely manner. I do recommend replacing the broom. The refrigerator works fine but is an eye sore due to rusting. We also had connectivity issues with the internet. Other than that, this is a wonderful place. A plus is pets are allowed! Thank you so much!

Beach in your backyard!
Our family had a great first vacation together! It is in a FABULOUS location with everything you need surrounding. We were under the impression that we would have a washer and dryer and didn't. Check in was made very fast and easy. Thank you Beachball Properties for the memories. We will be back!
