Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Great place to stay for Yosemite. 1 hour drive into Yosemite Valley. Lucky Buck cafe is excellent next door for brunch and dinner. Thanks for having us.

Good option with clean comfortable rooms. Nice play and gathering area. Pool and hot tub looked nice, but didn’t use them.

Indian man at front desk-acted like he didn't work there, obviously was owner. Place was clean, pool was nice. Basic motel with good location

The lodge was very clean with what looked like updated rooms. The laminate floors were very nice and the bed excellent. Very convenient for visiting Yosemite. However, the drive is much longer than the website suggests. It is nearly 45 minutes to the the valley floor, even though the park entrance is about 15 minutes.

Great but too expensive

Location and ammenities are great but way too expensive. It is a "lodge" afterall, not a high-end luxury hotel. This has been the most expensive room in our entire CA road trip, including San Francisco, LA and Sequoia. Prices are such that they profit out of tourists being far from any cities near by. This is very unfortunate.

Hotel stay

The room was not horrible but the AC unit was very loud, the microwave was broken and keep making a noise all night until we finally unplugged it. The TV also stopped working and we could never get it to reset. The hotel was also a little further than I expected from the park. About an hour driver. Having Bucks restaurant close was very nice and the food was good.

Affordable, clean hotel.

Very Clean and the Customer service was excellent. I absolutely love the fact that they had Washer and dryer.

There was a fire on the way! I tried to canceled the reservation the hotel refused and still charged the full amount even do, I never made it to the hotel due to the fire.
