I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was amazing, clean, quiet. Will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great, except…

Everything was great except for the bathroom door. It had been severely damaged and mostly repaired. However there was a large hole in the door, a bit odd that they would leave a big hole in a rather important door AND still rent the room. Thankfully it was just my husband and I or we definitely would have requested a different room.

Even though my family rolled in late (almost 10 pm.), Trinity at the front desk was GREAT - so fun, so welcoming, so helpful! Our room itself was mostly great, though there was a bloody-looking smear on the wall by the pullout bed that one of my kids slept in. All the issues we had with MainStay were in the morning. When we went down to breakfast at 8 a.m., nearly everything was out: all the juices, the eggs, the bacon, the waffle mix AND the syrup, the milk, one of the cereals, and almost all of the bread for toast. Basically all that was left were biscuits and yogurt. There was also no chlorine in the hot tub.

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, facility is beautifully kept. Pool and hot tub water were clean and not too chemically. We used the laundry facilities which were wonderful, and even a nice spot to relieve our dog occasionally. The pull out couch had a decently comfortable mattress. The breakfast was delicious!

Disappointing

Hotel person at the desk couldn't change credit card I was thinking ating with. Then at check out they wouldn't give me a receipt. Someone was blowing out the best arking lot just blowing rocks and dust into guest cars and faces. Breakfast was below average not much selection at all.

There was puke left in garbage can by elevators left for the 24 hours we were there. It was right on top and the smell was awful. No one came to clean it. Hot tub was full, we couldn’t go hot tubbing.
