OK, and nice area, but not great
Our room had a sort of funky smell that was unpleasant to me.The smell reminded me of either dirty grease or body odor and I have had that in one other hotel a few years ago. We received a text from hotels.com, I guess, telling us that if we needed anything, we could text them back. I did, but we never heard anything back from them. The lotion dispenser in the bathroom was also leaking and I was able to pull it off the wall, but even sitting on its side, it appeared to continue to leak. I told the cleaning attendent and then the receptionist, when we were checking out, and was informed that they do not get those texts - they come fro whoever we booked through. They said that we should have called them directly and they would have changed our room, but honestly, we were so tired when we finally got there that we did not want to go through the hastle of getting another room. I left the door open for as long as I could while we were there and before we went to bed, so it did air out enough that I could tolerate it. It was not horrible, but it was also definitely not pleasant. The receptionist said we should report it to hotels.com and maybe they would issue a small credit. I have done that before too, and it was a huge hassle, so I am not sure I will bother this time. She also suggested we book directly through the hotel in the future, and ask if they will price match an internet price if we take a screen shot. We may try that instead.
