Check in was great and the gal was friendly. From there on it left little to be desired. Room had no window shades. Staff made excuses but finally after checking that they worked and were installed on the 3rd room they resolved that issue. Imagine moving a 2 year old and all of the items, breaking down a crib multiple times etc...Apparently others also had broken/no shades on the windows. Ever try putting a 2 year old to bed when the parking lot lights are shining in your room? Don't eat at the "restaurant" way overpriced and the food was awful along with portion sizes that were comical. Requested a callback from Scott or Traci the GM and have yet to hear from either after being assured multiple days that one of them would call. We stayed 2 nights for $530 and I would never go back here. I guess our expectations were to high. Another example of poor management and no accountability.

Our stay was good, however a couple of things were very disappointing when I factor in how much that room cost. The amenities in our room - specifically the coffee needs were short: we had one coffee cup, and then not enough coffee and creamer for 2 cups each. A visit to the front desk fixed that. We could have used one more towel - we had 3, but took couple of showers each. Again, for the cost, I expected those small things to be taken care of. The facility did have a great location and the view of the lake was spectacular this morning at sunrise. And I believe the facility is aware of the elevators, one worked poorly and neither had air conditioning working. Any questions, pls let me know.

Many issues, quite unlike our previous experiences
We were upgraded to water view however maintenance stacked ladders just outside our window. Shower door would not close so we used washcloth to jam door shut while taking a shower. Maintenance was notified & they corrected this the first night. Bathroom door squeaked very badly when opened or shut, maintenance man ignored. No towel bar or ring to hang hand towels on. Refrigerator was by window because did not fit in cabinet after construction.

When we checked in tried to get an upgrade, and the clerk didn't know how with Expedia reservation-said it would "ruin her day" if she made a mistake, so we stuck with original registration. Later, after unpacking we discovered the tv had a broken screen and asked for another. Since there was no night maintenance, we were given the choice of change rooms or check-out. Neither was a good choice, so we stayed where we were- with no offer of compensation of any sort. Otherwise it was nice, but not worth the price considering incomplete amenities- a place that large needs 24hr maintenance.
