Cozy in Govy
We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.

Decent, affordable stay near Mt. Hood
Cabin was comfortable with the space heaters on as long as you closed the door to the mudroom whether you were upstairs or downstairs. Some of the appliances have some wear and tear. One of the burners didn't want to turn on, the arm to the chair was hanging on by a screw, and the bathroom toilet paper holder isn't very secure. The beds were comfortable and warm and the shower's water pressure and temperature were comfortable. The location was convenient and only a short walk to the Mt. Hood Shuttle across from the Chevron station.

Very nice little cabin a couple of blocks from all the stuff in Government Camp, Took the shuttle from Sandy and didn't have to deal with driving in the snow. I definitely would book this place again

Cold cabin
it was the first and not entirely successful trip to the government camp. Arriving at this house, we did not find the keys in the lock box, we waited until they gave us another code from another lock box. When we entered the house, we wanted to warm up (because it was very cold outside), but the house was very cold. It turns out that it is not heated. We turned on the heaters and waited a very long time for it to heat up.our children are very cold.

Great Location, Great for a Short Trip
We stayed here for 12 days which was too long for this place. Would be a good short vacation spot. Great location for skiing in the winter and hiking during non-skiing times of the year. There are issues with the house that one should be aware of, lights bulbs were out with no spares, electric wok with no cord, steep narrow stairs going up to the second level with no hand rails, the downstairs is dark, one has to be constantly aware of the low ceiling upstairs, different levels inside the house, issues with the stovetop burners, very limited cooking pots.

Nice house close to restaurants and bars
Had a nice weekend at the cabin. Might not be suitable if you consider working from there (internet was pretty slow) but a nice place to use as a gateway to nature.

Right in the heart of Govy!
Perfect to meet our goal of being in the heart of Govy, 15 minutes from exploring backcountry ski spots and the ski resorts, and pet friendly. Short on luxury, but excellent for location and had everything we needed to cook and sleep.

Great location, outdated property
While our stay wasn't horrible, I probably wouldn't choose to stay here again, especially in the winter. We were there a chillier week in June and it was very cold inside house. I am a cold blooded person so it was no surprise I was cold but even my husband who likes a much lower temperature noticed how chilly it was inside the home. It was very drafty and the entry is not heated requiring doors to main living area and upstairs to stay shut. We were there for a ski camp based out of Govt Camp so the location was great! The house was "clean" but furniture, carpet were very worn and dated. If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking I wouldn't choose 3Dogs Cabin (the kitchen small, very little work space, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal). There was barely enough seating for our fam of 5 to watch TV but the couch sagged horribly in the middle. Seating for 4 to eat. One of us sat in a camp chair. Beds were comfortable. Pulls outs made it enough sleeping for 5 - 7 but I can't imagine more than 5 there. The best part was being able to have our dog with us which is VERY hard to find in GC. The management staff at Vacasa was AMAZING! Can't speak highly enough of them! Overall it wasn't horrible just not sure I'd stay there again. <3

Perfect, simple, functional for our family with kids
This cabin had just what we needed for our trip to the snow, but not more: a cozy downstairs with with a fireplace, big TV, well equipped little kitchen, big mud room. Upstairs has plenty of quirky sleeping space for everyone - the kids especially loved it. Walking distance to gov. camp shops/restaurants and to Summit ski area. Great deal for a family.

Cosy
The house is cosy and a bit disshevelled- in a charming way.. The layout only provides for one bedroom with a door. The other sleeping arrangements are walk through. . Heating is provided by a number of electric heaters (the fireplace in the living room functions as a heating device too) and one needs to walk through the storage that is unheated to get from the living room to the bedroon area above. The location is central to the skiing areas but one needs to drive to the ski areas and that requires 7$ parking permits a day. A ski hut with the makeshift charm and cosyness that makes skiing adventurous and fun.

There where some good things and bad things about the property.
Good shower. Good tv. Terrible steps to upstairs. Low ceilings. Nice and clean. Entryway needs work. Beds were marginal.
