The location of the property was perfect, the property itself was a bit old, walking into the reception there was a very bad smell, it took a long time and few calls to get anything sent up. The bathroom fan didn’t work and we had to shower with the bathroom door open. Also the remote for the tv in the lounge didn’t work, they had to change the batteries and it was extremely slow. The tv in the bedroom was old and not a smart tv so we couldn’t sit in bed TV. We always stay at the Meriton surfers and Sydney location overall our experience at the Broadbeach location was not good other than the location.

Hotel was lovely and clean with great amenities in a really great location. Didn't like that the rooms are not serviced daily, you have to have a minimum 4 night stay to receive a service. My expectation of a good hotel is that you have the option for a daily service

Good location and nice spacious apartment
The check-in experience was weird. I was told the room wasn’t ready on arrival which was fine. I said we would go to lunch, paid for the room and car parking and the hotel said they would call me when the room was ready. I didn’t receive a call and when I returned back to reception to see if our room was ready they had no booking for me. Questioned me if I booked it in another name which I hadn’t and called over the initial guy who served me and they couldn’t find my booking. Turns out the guy changed the booking from my name into the name of one of my friends for what reason I’ll never know because I booked and paid for the room. It was very clumsy and a little unnerving and embarrassing in front of my friends. Other than that, it was nice.

Service Staff are excellent esp Stefanie. Inadequate facility in the kitchens, no hand towel, no dish soap, no exhaust in the bathroom, shower towel was not new.
