A rare and beautiful, open concept true log home made in Finland.
This family friendly genuine log cabin features open concept living at it's best with spectacular views!

Gather together in the large living room with floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace and 50" flat screen LED Smart TV. It's the perfect place to just relax on the comfy La-Z-boy recliners, have a family movie night or play one of the many games provided, including the arcade table game or PS2.

There is a large dining table in the adjoining dining room as well as an additional table in the eat-in kitchen, both perfect for meals and game nights! The kitchen is fully equipped, even for those large holiday meals.

For added convenience, there is also a 2 piece bath on the main level.

Take in the stunning mountain views from the expansive rear deck (both covered and uncovered) which can be accessed from the master bath, kitchen or dining room. If you plan on staying in, revel in the magnificent mountain views while grilling on the propane BBQ located on the back deck. Dine outdoors at the large patio table with shade umbrella to continue enjoying those incredible Great Smoky Mountain views. Stay connected with Wifi available throughout the cabin.

Relax and enjoy an evening coffee on the front porch rockers as the sun goes down.

The main floor also boasts a spacious king master bedroom with an attached ensuite featuring a large freestanding tub, separate tiled shower, double sink vanity and full size laundry.

The upper level consists of 2 additional king beds, each with a 40" flat sceen LED Smart TV with cable, armoire and closet access. There is also a shared full bath with shower/tub combination located on this level.

The cabin is equipped with 2 furnace/AC systems including a main level dual fuel system.

Guests will have access to Cobbly Nob's 2 outdoor community pools from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, featuring an abundance of wildlife and waterfalls, is only 15 minutes away.

The nearby Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, shops, and studios, is less than 20 minutes away.

A few minutes further is downtown Gatlinburg, home to multiple Ripley’s attractions including Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, shops, arcades, escape rooms, mini golf and restaurants galore.

Be sure to check out the Gatlinburg Skybridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the US. It even has glass floor panels mid-way!

Ober Gatlinburg offers an array of activities year-round including amusement rides, an arcade, summer tubing and much more. In the winter months, enjoy skiing, snowboarding & tubing. Ice skating is even offered year round!

Pigeon Forge is within a 30 minute drive and offers even more shops, an outlet mall, restaurants and attractions. Here you will find the much loved Dollywood & Dollywood's Splash Country.

The Gatlinburg Trolley service is available with multiple stops and routes to take you whereever you wish to go if you'd rather not drive.

Smokey Mountain Road Trip

Wonderful view on the back deck. We relaxed in the evenings with Prosecco and coffee in the am. Clean, comfortable and a perfect getaway! Definitely would recommend to others!

Long weekend trip

Great cabin with a view

The house is very nice with high end furnishings. The view is fantastic. It was a great place to relax after a day of hiking in GSMNP. It had everything we needed and the guide sent before check-in with the directions was very clear.

A Bearry Wonderful Getaway

I'm glad we took the time to get away. The property was beautiful outside and inside. So much attention to detail in the decor and ammenities. We were content to spend much of our time in the cabin. We saw several bears and even a family of bears while there.

Can't wait to stay again

This house was so wonderful. From the location, to the view, to the house itself. We will definitely be repeat visitors. We stayed during spring break with our young kids and it was great to be a bit out of town for such a busy week. The house is exactly as pictured, very clean and well-stocked for our week-long stay. We could not have asked for a better place for our trip!

Mardi Gras vacation

While everyone was headed to Louisiana for Mardi Gras, we decided to leave. This was the perfect get away. The cabin was very clean and accommodating with the BEST views. Good location, not too far from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Hope to be able to come back soon!

The perfect stay

This property definitely deserves all of the 5 stars. The property is very well maintained and top notch. We took 3 kids ages 9-1 and it was great. The two oldest loved the arcade table and being able to have their own separate bedrooms upstairs. We experienced at least 6 inches of snow while there due to a winter storm passing through. The hill on the side of the house is perfect for sledding down and the views of the mountains just can’t be beat. The community felt very safe to us and we saw security patrolling which gives a good piece mind. Everything about the cabin seems up to date and makes the stay even cozier. Like the heated bathroom floors, when it was 19 degrees one morning those 80 degree floors were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at northern dream and we would book again in a heartbeat! The host was also very easy to get in touch and was very pleasant. Thank you for a great vacation!

Gorgeous View

The cabin was just as pictured. Very nice and homey. The view was great. Unfortunately we didn’t see any bear. The neighbors had loud trucks/cars that was annoying but you can’t do anything about that. Neighbors are close but you don’t see them which is nice. The road to the cabin has sharp turns with a slightly narrow road but we never had any trouble. It was further from downtown Gatlinburg than I expected but it was nice to get away from the traffic. I would definitely stay in this cabin again.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Relaxing, cozy and beautiful view from the deck. We even had a young visitor 2 days in a row 🐻 Wish we could have stayed longer. All you need is groceries, kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and everything else needed. We did go to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to explore.

QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY

We have stayed at half a dozen cabins in Cobbly Nob throughout the years. This cabin, by far, was the best we have stayed at. Everything was very highly quality. The cleanliness was exceptional. Everything had clear instructions and made adjustment to a new environment very easy. We interfaced with Robert several times throughout our stay and he was always courteous and helpful. Our family agrees, next time we go to Cobbly Nob we will rent this cabin again!

Very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to find and the drive up the Mt. wasn’t bad. House was a nice as advertised. View was spectacular. Only issue I had was the way in and out of the driveway. But minor for the most part. And the only issue in the house which was minor as well was all the thresholds were raised and my 70 year old mother in law had tripping issues on them.

Absolutely loved it!

Fantastic property, well kept, very clean, in fact this is probably the absolute highest quality property we every stayed at through VRBO. It was exactly what we needed for a short week of R&R. Beautiful views away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We will be back!
