Great Bear Lake House

The view of the house from the road does not do this property justice. Once inside you get the full view. Loved all the windows to facing the lake. The driveway was just large enough to fit all our vehicles and toys. Nice little lawn on the side to play toss or horse shoes - we brought our own. Very glad there was an out door water faucet so we could wash off the mud after walking back from the lake. The walk to and from the lake is muddy in most places when we visited however the lake was rose a few feet while we were there. We launched our ski boat from the marina every morning and brought it to the shallows to pick up and unload the family during the day. At night we loaded the boat on the trailer and repeated the whole week. Marina is just down the road. Liked the bike path just across the street. Deck in back was the main gathering place. Internet was slow and spotty at times but whole really cares when one is on vacation. I would rent this one again
