I have never had poorer communication with a host. I tried numerous times to communicate via message and all messages were undeliverable. Left numerous voicemails with no response. I even contacted Vrbo directly, and they tried numerous times to reach the host to no avail . Messages seem to be auto generated.
The pictures of the property are very misleading.
Yes apartment was clean, yet we had no running water our second night there. No ability to shower, brush teeth use the kitchen or even use the bathroom. I tried numerous times to contact host and they finally responded with. “We are looking into this with our team.” I asked the surrounding units to make sure that it wasn’t in the whole building problem, and they assured me that they had running water.
I understand that things happen, but I reached out to the host asking for a refund for the one night due to the circumstances I have received no response ! I was traveling with two handicap adults, and this made our stay very uncomfortable we had to leave early in the morning because it was not safe or sanitary to stay there.
We use these accommodations frequently as a family, I am aware that things go wrong, and properties have difficulties. But the lack of communication response from this host and the lack of VRBO‘s ability to step in and help
was horrid.
I NEVER leave bad reviews , but I wanted to save someone else from this .
