We went for our honeymoon celebration and they laid out a lovely swan with rose petal display on our bed, as well as gifting us champagne and handmade cookies! The cleanliness of the room as well as after each clean during our stay was brilliant! The cleaners were respectful and didn't move our things (mostly), as we were a little worried about cleanliness due to covid. The fact that it's adults-only is so good! I love kids - but on a couple's holiday, it really is a positive! The breakfasts were always tasty. There was one morning we had to leave earlier than breakfast for a trip, and they packed us a little breakfast which was very sweet and surprised us! Lovely omelette lady! Kelly on the reception always went above what she needed to do to help us. Whenever we asked for restaurants to go to, she'd have a few up her sleeve, and she'd know which buses to take to different places as we didn't want to book too many tours. If her own knowledge wasn't up to scratch, she'd help search it on the computer for us. She always smiled and didn't get tired of us asking questions. Her colleague, however, wasn't so great. Maybe it was the language but she was a little older and her name began with "A". She never smiled and didn't help us. There was one time I needed to change my pillow as I may have had an allergic reaction to the feathers, and she said no, and that I'd have to wait for the cleaners the next morning. Thankfully, the male manager came to save me! Location was perfect!

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Leider ist das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Das Hotel ist günstig gelegen - ca. 5 min zu Fuß vom Lido, umgeben von Restaurants und Läden. Die Bushaltestelle in Richtung Funchal Innenstadt ist direkt um die Ecke. Das Hotel selbst ist modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer selbst sind relativ klein mit wenig Ablagefläche (u.a. gab es nur auf einer Bettseite einen Nachttisch). Wir hatten Halbpension und waren mit der Auswahl und der Qualität des Essens zufrieden.

Todella hyvä hotelli! Erinomainen palvelu.

Pros: Kaikesta. Palvelusta, sijainnista, siisteydestä!
Cons: Hotellin henkilökunta teki kaikkensa viihtyvyytemme eteen! Vain sää olisi voinut olla suotuisampi, mutta siihen he eivät valitettavasti voi vaikuttaa!
Location: Hotelli on uusi, joten taksikuskit hieman joutuivat neuvottelemaan, missä hotelli sijaitsi. Mutta tunnettuus paranee varmasti.
Saavuimme check-in ajan ulkopuolella, kirjoitin ennen matkaamme kysymyksen hotellille, että kai seikka oli huomioitu. Sain lähes välittömän vastauksen, että meitä odotetaan ja huone on valmis. Tuuliolosuhteiden vuoksi lento oli vielä myöhässä n. tunnin, mutta huone oli odottamassa. Huone oli todella hyvä ja hienolla näköalalla. Aamiaella saimme henkilökohtaista palvelua tarjoilijoilta, jotka olivat kiireisiä täyden salin kanssa! Jopa ystäväni kahvit ja mehut tuotiin tarjoilijan toimesta aamiaispöytään, kun hän hiukan näytti uniselta, ekan matkustamisiltamme jälkeen. Tarjoilu pelasi kuin unelma, täydestä salista huolimatta! Respa oli vertaansa vailla! Me saimme heti sisään tullessamme tietoja saaresta, mahdollisista retkistä sekä palveluista. He tilasivat meille retket käden käänteessä ja varasivat meille jopa ravintolapöydän, kun halusimme la saaren suosituimmaksi rankattuun ravintolaan! Aina kun kysyi jotain, he olivat jo valmiita soittamaan ja kysyivät vain kuinka monta henkilöä esim. retkelle haluaa! Koko hotellin henkilökunta toimi kuin Sveitsiläinen kellon koneisto ja hymyillen kaiken aikaa! He toimivat todella hyvin poikkeuksellisissa olosuhteissa, sillä saarella oli valtaisan voimakas myrsky oleskelumme aikana! En ole saanut vastaavan tasoista "President"-palvelua edes Kaakkois-Aasian 5* hotelleissa!

Hyvä sijainti.

Cons: Lämpimät ruoat olivat aamiaisella haaleat. Olisivat voineet olla kuumempia.
Location: Meillä oli kaunis näkymä parvekkeelta; meri ja katumaisemaa.
Siisti, uusittu hotelli. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja erityisesti aamiaisella. Huoneessa tervetuliaisena Madeiraviini lasilliset ja Madeira kakkua. Pieni ele, mutta tuntui kivalta. Lentokenttäkuljetus, joka oli halvempi, kuin taksi.

Sehr gemütliches Hotelmkt Blick aufs Meer.

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hotel ist frisch renoviert. Sehr gemühtliches Zimmer. Ein Schrank oder mehr Abstellfläche hätten wir uns gewünscht. Sehr feines Frühstücksbuffet. Es war sehr schön hier.
