My initial impression of the place was “lack of management”. Then I realized that management is there, they are just confused.
I thought I booked a hotel. Only to realize there’s no housekeeping or room service, and I have to take out the trash.
Property is spacious, but outdated and cheaply built. Again, I thought I booked a hotel. Only to settle into an apartment complex and fall asleep to the sound of my upstairs neighbor’s loud snoring.
Upon arrival, we encountered about 10 employees and NO one greeted us. The receptionist welcomed us to the “resort” and told us to make sure to take out the trash, do our own dishes, and see “the lady”. The lady proceeded to strong arm us into a time share presentation. No was not a good enough answer the first couple times. But she got the point eventually.
I have no problem staying at a short term rental if that’s what is advertised. However, don’t welcome me to the resort and tell me to clean up after myself in one sentence. Not the best way to sell your time share. Management, it’s all about setting expectations. Make up your mind and quit calling yourself a resort.
