Gulf 416--Completely updated gulf side condo that sleeps 10. This stunning two bedroom plus bunk room corner beach front unit is unlike many others on Okaloosa Island. Located directly on the Gulf, this unit is a two bedroom, two bath unit with very unique features and all of the things you will need to feel at home.

The Master Bedroom with a king bed is facing the Gulf of Mexico, and also has direct balcony access. Attached to the Master is the private bathroom with a spacious walk in closet. There is also a chair that folds out into a sleeper for one. Enjoy lounging with a 30" flat screen..

Guest bedroom and bunk room are decorated with the beach and relaxation in mind to make you forget all about the worries of everyday life! Queen bedroom and Bunk room both have flat screen tv/dvd players with a spacious guest bathroom. Bunk room has been updated to a full bed on bottom and twin on top for additional sleeping options. Living room sofa has a sleeper sofa with all linens included.

Cooking is enjoyed in this very open kitchen, that is fully equipped and enhanced with views of the gulf. We've got you covered with everything you will need to prepare anything from a gourmet meal to a picnic lunch. If you're a coffee drinker, bring your K-cups because we have a Keurig for you as well as a standard coffee maker.

Everything you need is really at your fingertips:
*Laundry Room is located in the kitchen in it's own doored space.
*Seating for five dining table and the breakfast bar, in addition to seating for six on the patio.
*A comfortable Living Room with a 50 inch smart TV with internet for your entertainment.


What else could you think of that doesn't make this the ultimate TWO BEDROOM on the Gulf?? Guests of DestinWest have access to the beach or bay side. Bay side is the host of the 700 foot lazy river, several pools, hot tubs and a brand new marina.

Beautiful condo

Very clean. TVs didn’t all work and could not be fixed until the last day. But the view and cleanliness made up for that. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Perfect weather and a great stay.

Great Location

We stayed in this same resort building a year ago and after this time, I believe this will be our annual vacation spot! We love the location directly on the beach and the pool amenities as well. The condo was bright and clean and recently updated. We like the location next to Rockin Tacos and Al’s so we could walk to dinner. It’s close enough to the hustle and bustle to drive but far enough away to offer a more relaxing getaway.

We had a great time at Destin West! We loved our condo. It was nice and spacious. Great view of the ocean! Couple things was we only got 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people and 5 nights. That is definitely not enough. Plus two out of the four TVs worked. Other than that it was clean and a nice stay! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Family Friendly Condo

We loved our stay at Destin West! The condo was as described. We didn’t have any issues and found the condo to be clean and well stocked for our weeklong family vacation. The kids loved the bunkroom. We appreciated the sand/beach items that were available to us. The condo is right by the parking garage (though there are about 6 steps that you have to walk down in order to get to the floor the condo is on). Our kids loved the pools, especially the lazy river. I would highly recommend this condo unit - it was close to restaurants, easy walk to the beach and pools, and beautifully updated.

We loved the property! It was close to the beach, shops and restaurants! The chair in the primary bedroom that folded into a bed was not comfortable for my daughter. She chose to sleep in the pull out couch which was broken so she ended up sleeping directly on the couch itself. I sent a text to the number in my check in instructions but never received a response. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful condo with plenty of space! The unit is a great easy walk to the beach (down the side stairs)! The beach chair renters can give you one right at the end of the boardwalk!!! Beautiful beach views and relaxing place to be!

Best beach vacation

This was our first beach vacation with our kids and we had an amazing time!! We would stay here again! We loved the atmosphere/decor of the condo and the views from the balcony. The condo was very comfortable and had plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed all the amenities Destin West Resort had to offer. The condo is located at the very end of the building closest to the parking garage making it very convenient with coming and going from the condo.

AMAZING!!!

The condo was beautiful and clean with everything we needed for the beach and pool. Everything was provided for us to make whatever meals we wanted. The location was also wonderful with so many fun things for the kids to take off and do! Already booked for next year!

Overall A Wonderful Stay

We stayed in a 3-bedroom 2-bath condo with a beach view. The view was fantastic! It was nice to be close to the beach and to the public beach. The location was ideal, we were close several restaurants and the boardwalk pier. Our condo was clean and comfortable. The bedroom with the bunk beds did not have a closet so we used one of the extra dressers from one of the other bedrooms. We enjoyed the lazy river and outdoor grilling area on the Bayside condos. In our opinion the Bayside condos have a better pool and grilling area. The only downside is you just don’t get the beach view. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We would book again and recommend to others.

Short but sweet

We were only in town for four nights to plan our daughter and son-in-law’s upcoming wedding. The condo was clean and well stocked. The only few things I noticed that needed some attention were the living room curtains had a previous cigarette burn hole (we don’t smoke) front welcome mat was old, needed replaced, a couple of the bathroom white floor mats had seen better days. But all in all, nice. The view is to die for. Perfect location and walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We would stay here again! Jennifer was great at communicating. Thanks

Great property for family fun.

Beach and pool fun all day and a relaxing dinner out on the balcony to end the evening was a perfect way to spend our vacation. Kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to prepare dinner each night. Kids are ready to go back and so are we.

Great location, comfortable and clean

The place was clean and ready. The managers were good communicators and helped us get in slightly early to accommodate my work call on our travel in day. Our son loved the access to the lazy river/heated pools and the pool and beach on the condo side was super easy access. This end unit was also super convenient to the parking garage so you could park right next to the unit (no noise issues) and didn't have to worry about getting your stuff from a to b or walking a mile to come and go. Located 'between' Ft walton and Destin and next to the national seashore so plenty of beach space without a crowd and easy to get to either place. Place was super comfy and had all we needed.. We dined out but could have easily worked the kitchen for a lo get stay. We were 3 but the place could easily accommodate 8 or so.. My only critique as a Floridian was the beach stuff they provide was broken and struggling a bit. I'm sure they would have helped if we had asked but we brought our own and didn't use it much anyway. There's a beach rental company onsite too if you are flying in. Great stay overall and we are actually planning on returning for another go.

The condo was well kept, spacious and easy access to the beach. The view is outstanding. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee on the 4th floor balcony. We had a very relaxing stay and found plenty of venues to explore.

Amazing Property!!!

This rental is fabulous!!! The view is amazing! The balcony off of both the living room and master is awesome and it was so nice to listen to the ocean waves. The property was very clean and well stocked. The bed in the master was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a rental home! The location is great - close to boardwalk and a short drive to Destin. The beach is right there and there are several pools to choose from as well as a large hot tub. We would definitely stay here again. Overall a wonderful experience!
