"The Starfish Suite:" Everything, and yes, I do mean everything is brand new in this apartment (except for one small bathroom window). And while some use the term ‘everything is new’ rather loosely, not here. Even the walls are new! There’s new modern flooring, new front windows, new French doors with integrated blinds, the entire kitchen, the bathroom…everything. The A/C system, the lighting, the 50” TV, barstools, appliances, the couch, etc. Plus all the little items that it takes to furnish a property, such as the towels, the mattress, the sheets, every fork, spoon, pot & pan—all new as well. In a hotel or typical rental, these items have been used numerous times by numerous guests. Not here. You get to enjoy the next best thing to outright new construction without the hefty rental price tag that typically accompanies it.
Lots of extra touches not typically found in an affordable vacation rental too- higher end granite counters, shower panel with multiple jets, expensive frosted glass bifold doors, frameless shower doors and vessel sinks. Since I had to rebuild it from scratch, I wanted to do it as nicely as possible!
Returning guests: Note that it’s now been upgraded to a comfy King bed instead of a Queen. All the better!
Great section of the beach too- just 1 block (800 feet) to the sand.
Unit is located on the ground floor (no stairs) in a multi-unit building. It’s located in a desirable & quiet section of the island that’s quite popular amongst vacationers, recognized for its combination of being away from the crowds, yet in very close proximity to one of the nicest sections of actual beachfront on Fort Myers beach. The unit sleeps 2 with its 1 king bed, offers a private exterior entrance and has a generous size private bathroom. The unit is well equipped with practically everything you'll need for you beach vacation.
High speed mesh Wifi is available throughout the property and there’s streaming internet to the TV (so you can access your Netflix accounts, Prime, etc).
This studio apartments measures approximately 500 square feet so it’s certainly a bit bigger than most island hotel rooms. Again, it is a studio unit so bear in mind there is no separate bedroom, though it is a good size room with ample closet space and storage. It also features the biggest bathroom of all the units available in this building. It is a first floor unit so stairs are not an issue. There is another unit above it and this is a frame building so yes, you may occasionally hear the occupants in the unit above however the unit was remodeled adding a double layer drywall ceiling and 10 inches of insulation between the units for superior sound control.

There’s also an inviting backyard space as shown in the photos, including a tiki bar and a relaxing seating area, both of which are under gazebos that somehow survived the Hurricane! The tiki bar has a TV and the wifi signal works well from the backyard space as well. A new BBQ grill has also recently been added for your enjoyment. Note: this backyard area is shared with the other units in the building. There is also convenient, shared laundry equipment located on the 1st floor as well (located through the garage).

Guest access:
Guest will be able to access their unit via a digital deadbolt system, so the timing of arrival is quite flexible (anytime after 4pm) and the unit will be all set for you on the day of your check-in. Also, the owner lives in one of the other units in the building, so he's very close by, if the need arises. That said, guests are given their privacy on their side of the building, but can certainly call the owner, if needed. He’s very happy to help you with suggestions & advice to ensure your vacation is a great one!
Other details to note:
Check in is 4:00pm, or later. Check out: 10:30am. Max 2 vehicles. No pets. No parties. No smoking indoors. Outside ok. Group size restrictions: # of overnight guests is limited to the number booked in your reservation (max of 2). Max 4 people in your party at any given time on the property please (to ensure that other guests enjoy their time here as well). Disclosure: Security cameras in use on the property (outside & in garage only). In plain sight. Nearby construction: Fort Myers Beach properties including the condo complex next door are continuing to receive Hurricane Ian repairs. Travel insurance is recommended, to cover any interruptions, unforeseen events and/or needed changes.
