On check in there were a few lights on in the house and a car in the driveway, with led us to believe that there might be someone there which was an unnerving feeling. Thankfully there was no one home and we proceeded to unpack assuming the car was the owners. We arrived after dark to a very dark house on the exterior. We had to use flash lights to get up stairs and to use the keypad to open the door. Access was easy after turned on the porch light. House was well decorated and beautiful. Clean, and easy to find everything. We love to cook, so it was awesome to have such a well stocked kitchen for us to use. Rooms were nice and spacious. Enough room for everything we needed a space for. However, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. It was a bummer for a six night stay. We loved the easy access to the main drag and the beach. Street was relatively quiet and neighbor's were nice. Loved the off street parking. The yard, however, was a bit messy. The outside lighting for the yard was non-existent, which made it tricky to have a cookout. There was random lawn equipment strung about and we were unable to put it away due to the shed being locked. Downstairs office lights were left on, blinds were up and the shed light was off the first night but, the second night the shed light was on, the office lights were off and the blinds down, meaning someone had come to the property un-announced, again unnerving feeling. Other than that we had a wonderful time in Folly Beach and will be visiting again next year. Don't think we will be staying here again. The house felt like we were vacationing in someone's house while they were on vacation.
