This property is a 5 Star gem. A best kept secret and an incredible bargain for the amenities it offers. The hotel is situated on the Ocean front of Florence Oregon and every room has a view of the water. Access is easy to the beach and very walkable. The rooms have complete full kitchens and dining areas, even a dishwasher, dishes and cookware. Our room was immaculate, absolutely the cleanest place I have been in a long time. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and kids play areas are the best amenities and I understand how this wonderful gem is a popular family destination in the Summer and Spring.

I checked in when the hotel was super busy due to the Exploding Whale/artisan fair. Despite this, my check in was fast and the room I was given was impeccably clean. The Deli Market is everything.

Beautiful ocean view and easy access to beach. The staff was courteous and helpful. The restaurant was out of chicken and not serving pizza one night due to lack of staff. In addition, they were not taking online orders after 6 PM. The wi-fi was unreliable and kept going out.

Beach Front on the Pacific
This is on a beautiful, huge, open beach in the Pacific Ocean. We walked the beach and it was stunning. The room was clean and we lived the town of Florence. We would stay here again.

Driftwood has been a family favorite for nearly 20 years for it beach access and room options. This time we had 2 beds with a full kitchen to cook breakfast. We also enjoyed the pool & hot tub. If we still had littles they would have loved the indoor splash park and obstacle course area!

The building looked worn down and sketchy, definitely hasn’t been updated in over 20 years. We could also hear entire conversations in the room next to us. The people next to us were extremely loud and were playing music late into the night(2am). Overall, would never come back.

My son and I enjoyed this property. Probably one of the better ones in Florence area. Every room has an ocean view. Our room was clean, updated appliances, kitchen had all utensils needed. Staff are friendly.

I have stayed at Driftwood Shores since I was a kid in the 1970s. It is just a great place to stay, close to Eugene, and easy access to the beach.

We really liked the ground level room and beach view and access. The full sized fridge in kitchen was great for snacks and beverages. The restaurant was good for breakfast though the wait was a bit long. We opted for smaller priced menu options like Captains plate which suited us fine since we had kids. The location was a plus since we were trekking up north a bit and back down to Florence the few days we were there. Definitely recommend!

Hotel is older, in rough condition but overall not bad. Restaurant next door is not very fast at service and a bit inconvenient. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Location, location, location! Amazing views for the price.
