Long weekend stay
Long weekend, Visiting family in Floral City, found this diamond in the rough! Fantastic property! Clean and spacious, easily fit our family of 5. Loved the quiet and scenic property. Lots of little extras (travel supplies, ect) that take the place over most others. Would recommend and would stay again.

Super clean, quiet, but old Florida
So this is a little out there, and in an old Florida neighborhood. It didn't bother us, we are both from Florida and enjoyed the property very much. The home was super clean and inviting, the beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, and everything functioned as it should. We spent most our time exploring the nearby Citrus WMA, but it was the perfect spot to stay. The owner was friendly and communicated well, we never needed anything, so we didn't speak much, but I knew she was there if we needed her.

Exactly as advertised
The house was clean, quiet and looked exactly like the pictures. It has everything you need and more. It is conveniently located to multiple grocery stores, attractions and restaurants. We had a great time exploring the area and looked forward to coming "home" each evening to relax in the Florida room or on the screened porch. I would stay here again anytime.

Amazing
Stunning home on the water! We had an amazing time here. The highlight of our trip was when our 7-year-old boy caught both bass and catfish right from the backyard. It was a moment we'll never forget. The house itself was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. We highly recommend this vrbo for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

Two words came to mind within an hour of being at the cottage; comfortable and peaceful. You won't be disappointed staying here. Joan and Calvin are excellent hosts and wonderful people. Joan thought of everything and the house is fully equipped. The wildlife viewing is awesome. Highly recommend staying at Laurel! I'm already looking forward to a return trip. :)

Beautiful Florida home
We enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, comfortable and a great size for our family of six. I enjoyed having coffee on the lovely screened porch each morning and watching the water. The beds and other furniture was comfortable and the house was very clean. It was a little off the beaten path but we did make the most of our trip by driving to some of the area attractions. The Villages, Wicki Watchee springs, and Crystal River were all about 50 minutes away (in different directions). We will likely stay here again in the future!

The house had everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean. Met the owner, beautiful person. The whole experience felt like a home away from home. We were here for a sick relative, this home made the visit easier. Look forward to returning.

Just to fish
We enjoyed or stay. Felt like we were down in the boonies but the property was really nice and quiet. We enjoyed fishing from the yard. Drove over to Lake Panasoffkee to fish Marsh Bend park which is nice. The host was great. Reccomend to anyone looking for a quiet place away from the beaten path

Perfect Little Retreat!
The house is beautifully decorated! It was very cozy and comfy and all the necessities one would find in their own home. The ac was nice and cold for as hot as it was outside. The yard is huge, plenty of shade and sunny areas and large canal frontage. The boat ramp was not far. Airboat's are fine for that area, we took our little boat and had no problems in the canals, an airboat is ideal if you want to go to the marsh areas. The East view has big sky for sunrise lovers. I was hoping the NASA Launch would happen, it's a perfect view of the sky. The owners are a sweet couple and was fast answering any questions or seeing our needs. The town was close enough and perfect to be away from. It is a get a way for sure. It's what we needed, Hope you find the place as charming and relaxing as we did. P.S. the skeeters didn't bite, but might wanna have spray just in case. In the mornings, local birds visited and the squirrels play all day. :)

Beautiful and peaceful
This is an amazing home with relaxing waterfront views. We loved spending time on the screened porch and explored local Fort Cooper State Park, which is now my favorite FL state park. I cannot say enough positive things about this house - it was spotless and equipped with anything that we might need. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the home is beautifully maintained. Highly recommend this rental for a relaxing getaway! Only about 20 minutes from shops in town, but it feels like you are off the grid.

Great place! Home away from home
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The place is well stocked and clean. We made good use of the screened porch and enjoyed watching birds, ducks, fish jumping, and alligators doing their thing. We took the canoe out on the canal for a few miles and folks in the neighborhood are super friendly. We enjoyed the fire pit and grilled out a couple nights too. Joan is such a sweet person and very responsive to texts. We definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing, scenic home away from home.
