Great for fall
We had a great stay. We used this as our base as we traveled around and looked at the fall colors. Perfect for this, as everyone was traveling from Denver, we traveled from the south and missed a lot of the traffic. Peaceful place to unwind.

Peacefulness
This property is in a very peaceful setting. There are tons of aspen trees in the area. Fall colors must be spectacular! I loved the views from the living room and the master bedroom. Morning fog was so pretty as it settles in the valley area. Evening clouds are spectacular! It’s a modern type home but quite comfortable. We had a question about the ventilation system. I called the caretaker and she was very prompt in finding an answer.

We spent three nights beginning on Thanksgiving. It is a passive solar house and was a bit cool but not uncomfortable even though the weather was cold and windy. The fireplace in the living room worked well and we did not use the supplemental heater. We enjoyed our stay and would likely stay there again.

This is a great modern home with a beautiful view and perfect place for us to spend the week with our pups. Great yard and plenty of places to relax. We especially appreciated the passive solar design as we would like to do something similar in the future.

Awesome house and location.
I’m extremely glad I came across this house and booked it. It was perfect for my stay. It’s quiet and secluded and was fairly close to some great Colorado resorts. The views of the sunrise and sunsets were amazing and it was hard to leave to return to reality.

Wedding of our dreams
We had our wedding in Breckenridge 2/9 and my family stayed with us in this house. It was absolutely perfect, my little sister is a photographer and she did all of our wedding pictures in the field behind the house. At no point did we have a problem with the cold, even though it snowed all day the second day we were there. We will be coming back for our anniversary if it is available. I highly recommend this home to anyone.

Lovely property!
We had a great stay, the house is lovely and the views are wonderful. It’s very warm and cozy! We shared the Home with another couple and really enjoyed having the full kitchen and plenty of room. The only change I would make - there are only two beds that aren’t twin beds and the one upstairs is horribly uncomfortable. We ended up swapping and sleeping in the separate twin beds. The bed downstairs in the master is fine.

A nice piece of land for the dog to play, the house was well built but was very noisy due to the solar energy system. Nice kitchen and well equipped, overall not a bad place. That said....property management was less then helpful, we called several times with questions and have yet to get a response....disappointing. Additionally the house was dirty, I feel bad for the owners of this house as they are not getting the service they deserve.

Comfortable home to "get away from it all"
My husband, adult son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It is very clean, comfortable, well appointed and the setting is extremely peaceful and quiet. The unpaved road to the place is a bit bumpy, but we had no trouble with our SUV. The house is a short drive to the trailheads for many hikes in the area. A small grocery store in Fairplay is only a 5 minute drive away. Would love to come back for another stay at this Fairplay home.
