Didn’t expect this from the Marriott
We were traveling for a soccer game. I’m off the parents called the hotel, told the clerk we would need several rooms,be arriving late in the afternoon , asked if there was a pool & if they had restaurant & breakfast? The clerk said Yes to everything. Great. Because of this, we all booked at the Marriott. Well, the pool closed at dusk because the lights we broken, the restaurant was closed because there wasn’t anyone to cook, the bar/lounge was closed because there’s no bartender & on & on. We didn’t expect this from the Marriott. We’d stayed at the Marriott in Santa Rosa recently & it was incredible & when we told the clerk that we were disappointed about the pool being closed she said we should have called first which was the first thing we did & reason we stayed there.

My family seems like we are always on the go go go. We've been in desperate need of a vacation. When memorial day weekend started we felt we should be on a vacation. Marriott Bon Voy fit the bill. Eventhough we stayed at the one in our town, the Mariott made us feel like we were miles away.

Not greated as a guest, but amazed that I was seemingly an inconvenience. Wow, this was after I asked her how her day was going? Otherwise the stay was pretty awesome. Half of the hotel was being renovated. I do feel that businesses should state this upfront and warn guests ahead of time.
