Mountain Hall was built in 1902 by John Rosborough and a neighbor as a music hall. Rosborough was professor of music for many years. People would gather for conversation and performances. Updated for comfort and usability, Mountain Hall still retains its unique charm. It features one-of-a-kind lighting and furnishings. The great room is an astounding 40 X 20, two stories tall, and includes an enormous fireplace, multiple couches and chairs, a 10 person handmade wooden dining table, and a loft with hand hewn log railing and small viewing deck. The 40 ft front porch has views toward Long's Peak, and plenty of seating. Kitchen just got a facelift with granite counters and new sink and faucet. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Bed 1 – king, Bed 2 – queen, bed 3 – twin, loft – 2 twins, living room – full sofa bed. One bath on the main floor. Second bath is in the basement with outside access. Gas grill. Three miles to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
