Great place to stay. Lots of history. Parking is a bit tight next to the hotel but there is plenty of overflow parking that’s got a lot more room. No smoking allowed which was great for my allergies to smoking. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I had requested a room on the top floor (6th) to avoid noise. The floor has not been remodeled yet so the furniture is a bit damaged. The bathroom is clean with all the toiletries you need. The wifi is very low and sometimes could not download my emails. You get a coupon for breakfast at Denny’s which is in the ground floor, next to the desk and the slot machines. The decoration is interesting for whom loves History.

No way around it, this is an old - some might say ‘historic’ - hotel. It has a lot of charm but it also has a lot of noise being right on the 50 as it passes through Ely. Standing in my 6th floor room, I wistfully gazed at the hotel that was two blocks off the Main Street. Oh well. On the plus side, the bed was great.

This place is almost 100 years old. If your looking for fancy or modern, this isn't the place for you. I love old, nostalgic places, with a possibility of haunted, and is why I chose this place; and it didn't disappoint. I didn't experience anything super natural, but the room was really nice, and was covered in Wayne Newton memorabilia, I loved it. The entire place is full of old, nostalgic items. Definitely stop by and take a look, if you need somewhere to stay, give this place serious consideration. When in Ely again, I'll definitely stay here.

It’s a great place to stay if you’re in Ely. Free Denny’s breakfast and the place is definitely haunted. On the fourth floor, I heard a creaking noise and a door opened on its own, and it was not a room. It was a storage closet that just opened down its own.

The door near the exit sign opened on its own.

Very nice older hotel with lots of class

Very nice hotel overall. Staff very nice and friendly. Cafe on sight. Food and service excellent. Only negative is a very smoky casino area that can be hard to tolerate. Filters and air exchangers would help. The rest of Hotel is smoke free.

This hotel was built in 1929. It’s not new or modern but it is awesome. Great atmosphere, neat, kind of eclectic hotel and super friendly staff. Stay there every time I’m in the area
