Nice place proprietor was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. The only thing I would suggest is getting a new shower head, the one we had was like showering underneath a faucet, hardly and type of spray

Great location, clean, friendly

The Esquire was perfect for our stop on our cross country trip. The owners accommodated our room request and we’re very friendly and kept the room and property clean and comfortable. The location was very close to the quaint, historic downtown, which had a mixture of both modern and older establishments. Close to casinos if you like that and a short walk to an excellent Mediterranean restaurant. The Esquire had a nostalgic vibe to it, but was not dingy at all. Very pleased with the quality of the accommodation.

Clean hotel room just as pictured. Quiet except we had the room under the stairs and the stairs and people in the room directly above us were very much heard. I was charged $5.00 more for the room than was quoted from the Hotel App reservation but because it was only $5 I didn’t mention it. Breakfast was strictly bananas, apples, cold cereal, bite size muffins and yogurt. Coffee was also served. Would stay again because it is hard to find a good clean room for around $100.

The price and other reviews were the reason I chose this property. There had been recent upgrades to the room which was nice and the staff , which I believe are the owners, was very friendly and helpful. They even called me after I checked out that I had left an item in the room so I could return and retrieve it.

A great place to stay to break up the travel on a road trip. Marriott-worthy beds; spacious and very clean rooms.

This is an older property run by a delightfully quirky Indian couple. It wasn't much to look at, but they maintained the dated property very well. Clean and neatly painted, garden beds filled with petunias and blooming edible pea plants. The front road is pretty noisy, but the AC ran all night during the warm summer night in Elko, so it really didn't bother us at all. Breakfast is a stand-up or go back to your room affair. Price was very modest and a good value it you just want a bed and a shower.

I felt like I was back in the 70’s. Wish they had separate hair conditioner instead of shampoo/conditioner all in one. Didn’t even consider the breakfast snacks they offer. Went across the street for a latte at Cowboy Cafe and there was a breakfast place next door. It was a fairly reasonable and decent place to stop for the night. Nothing fancy but kind of fun bringing back memories of the 70’s.
