Perfect escape
My wife and I were looking for a pet friendly getaway to get some much needed relaxation. Beautiful autumn foliage surrounded the house in the middle of the clearing with a gorgeous view over the pond. Lots to do nearby! My wife and I went zip lining in the morning and then took our dogs to a great winery with live music! Would definitely return

Peaceful Mountain Getaway
Peaceful and relaxing retreat for a good time with family. My kids are 6, 8, and 10. They enjoyed the tree swing, horseshoes, cornhole, and especially loved fishing in the well-maintained pond close by. We used the fire pit one evening to cook hot dogs and smores. Cozy upstairs loft with rec area with good board games selection for the kids. Satellite TV for morning cartoons. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and had good hot and cold water. The hosts were very gracious.

Quiet and Peaceful Retreat
If you want a quiet and peaceful retreat, this is just right! My family and I stayed for a weekend and had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with trees all around, rolling hills, and a pond. We enjoyed the bucks and doe that liked to come out and eat from the apple trees. Feeding and watching the fish in the pond was also enjoyable. The tree swing was so fun! Joel was very quick to respond to my emails and texts and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful secluded getaway
The property is located in a beautiful part of Virginia and is in a secluded area where all you can hear are the sounds of nature. The pond is full of healthy, active fish and offers a nice area to sit and relax. There is a gigantic picnic table outside that is perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. The house is updated for all of your needs and was as advertised. The owner has everything stocked and was very responsive and kind throughout our stay. There was no wifi and cell service is a little spotty out there, but we didn't plan a mountain getaway to check email and sit on our phones all day so it made it easy to disconnect. Overall, we loved our little mountain getaway and will definitely return.
