It really is all about the view at this Gulf front rental on the Emerald Coast! Located alongside the Emerald Coast Parkway, this vacation rental is within walking distance of several popular restaurants including the Back Porch and the Pancakery. For groceries and essentials, you'll find a Target and a Walmart Supercenter, both about a mile from this condo. And if you're looking for some fun beyond the beach, head over to Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, the largest water park on the Emerald Coast, just a little over a half-mile up the road.

This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Cute and comfortable Condo
Nice and clean except for the carpet! We think it was clean but it’s so discolored and stained we weren’t sure. Other than that it was great place and would love to stay again. Review pictures show 2 couches but only one. Front bathroom fan just sits and hums, needs repaired as it’s not working Wash area in front of closet at main bed room seems to be clogged, long time to drain! Even with these small problems it was a nice stay.

View of ocean is amazing - very convenient location - best heated pool ever (seriously) with lots of lounge chairs & umbrellas - plenty of comfortable seating inside & on balcony - very good mattresses - well equipped kitchen - super layout (two couples & plenty of privacy with split plan) - TVs worked easily - staff was super active greeting & all thru visit. Carpet needs updating, but it was well vacuumed and condo place was very clean.

Great location on the beach and close to great places to dine out.
Sorry, it thought i had already completed this. Enjoyed this stay at Sterling Sands for the 3rd consecutive year. I would like to suggest the carpet be professionally cleaned as i felt the condo may not be clean due to the multiple stained and tracking on the carpet. My attention was drawn to that when immediately walking in the door. The rest of the condo was very clean and orderly. It was a nice stay.

Top Notch Condo
The condo was spotless, well equipped in bathrooms and kitchen ( although dishes were rather sparse; however we were not cooking), comfortable living room furniture, comfortable beds, fabulous large balcony with a magnificent view, no noisy neighbors, convenient well lit parking garage. This is a place we would stay again because it was so pleasing plus in a convenient location. 5 stars

The condo could use some new furniture. The springs were coming out of the couch bed and my 10 year old was not able to sleep on it. The recliner was broken. The master bed needs a new mattress. No muffin tin or cookie sheet. No space In the pantry to store food because it had kitchen supplies in it. Other than that, the condo was nice and we had a great time. Large balcony with plenty of seats.

I LOVED IT !!
This must have been my favorite property staying in Destin. I think it may have been the parking LOL :) I got to park right in front of elevator and when I walked out of the elevator I was at my condo door. Love the pool it was spacious and the water was much warmer than the ocean this week. When our stove went out they were right there to get me cooking again. The only complaint with this condo was mattresses. The could use an upgrade. The fold out couch mattress was like WHATTTT ok seriously ya'll fix this. The very spacious balcony had a blind to block out that morning light - i loved that. I was close to everywhere I wanted and needed to be from play time, walmart time, to restaurant time. I would totally visit this unit again.

Great location but fell short In a lot of other areas.
We enjoyed our stay overall, it was a good sized unit, the view from the large deck was great. The pool area was clean the maintenance people friendly. Five days before our trip they called to say we had been moved to another unit comparable but was 3 floors down and had carpet in the main area. Laminate flooring was one of the reasons we had chosen the unit as well as the view from the 5th floor. The carpet in the main living area is disgusting and stained, definitely recommend replacing! We arrived to find the door code was not right as they didn’t update it when they changed our condo. The owner from the neighbouring condo was kind enough to call someone to help us out. We called the emergency number and it was dealt with efficiently however changing the code at the appropriate time would have been more convenient. The dryer did not work so we washed our towels and could not use them. The sign on the office door said they were closed Sunday which caused us stress until we emailed and were told they would actually be open and would bring us new towels. The location, building, and beach were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. The little details overlooked however made our stay much less relaxing and much more stressful. With all of the choices in this area the little details are what keep people coming back time after time. This is the first time we have dealt with Vacasa and have not been happy so far.
