Welcome to Bella Luna, a beautiful five-bedroom three-bathroom home in the Dunes of Destin community. Multiple balconies and a private pool overlook the neighborhood lake and create a perfect spot for soaking up the sun when you are not at the beach. The first floor offers patio access from the guest bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed, sleeper sofa, and a flat screen TV. A washer and dryer on the first floor add the convenience of throwing beach towels in the wash straight from the beach or pool.

On the second floor, relax in the living room which provides picturesque views of the lake through a wall of sliding glass doors. Unwind with your favorite movie at the end of a sun filled day on the large flat screen TV while curled up on the sofa. Shared with the living area is a large dining table that can host 10 guests. Tucked around the corner is a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with a small table for four, a breakfast bar with two stools, and balcony access. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with plenty of prep space will delight even the best chef in the party. Guests can find a lovely bedroom with coastal inspired decor, queen bed, and flat screen TV just off the living area. A sleeper sofa and hall bathroom with a large walk-in shower complete the second floor.

The third floor plays host to three more bedrooms, including a richly decorated master suite. Feel like royalty in the master suite while sleeping on a large four poster king bed, walking out to the third-floor balcony, or getting ready in the attached bath with dual sinks, soaker tub, and a walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms include a queen bedroom with balcony access and a twin over full bunk room. A hall bath is shared between the two guest rooms and offers a walk-in shower.

The house was beautiful, has some basic kitchen supplies, wonderful views overlooking the water. A good size for a large party. We had Thanksgiving here, plenty of kitchen space, kids (mostly teens) enjoyed the heated pool and the private beach. This home does have 2 fridges which was a life saver for us!

This is one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in. Loved the pool and being close to the beach that we could walk. Took us a while to find where we were to go for the beach access as there was no sign or directions. We absolutely loved our stay, and would stay again!!

We had a group of friends come with us to Destin for my my husband's birthday and this property was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a bit messy when we arrived due to recent storms and they had someone come to clean it asap, it was ready to go by the next morning when we woke up! Also, the washing machine was not working but communication was great with the host and they sent someone to look at it...ended up having to replace the machine. Other than those 2 small issues, everything was great and communication was quick and easy. Would definitely book again.

Not worth it.
For the price of this rental, we were very disappointed. We had COCKROACHES on two of the three floors. We were told by the rental company the home was just treated and we were therefore seeing increased activity. If that’s the case, the home should be closed for a period of time after treatment to ensure guests aren’t finding cockroaches in kitchens and bedrooms. The cable and Wi-Fi were out for our entire trip. We were reimbursed a small amount for the inconvenience, but it was still very frustrating. We had a house full of kiddos and it rained half of our trip. We were also not able to watch the ball drop celebration on New Year’s Eve. Furniture was outdated and the couches were badly stained. Again, for the price, we expected better quality. The pool was well-heated and there were plenty of towels, blankets and dishes. We appreciated the access to the grill and a small number of pool toys. Walk to the beach was short and convenient but we had to figure out everything on our own. Instructions were not great. In the future, we will look for somewhere else to rent.

Great stay!
We truly enjoyed staying at Bella Luna. I highly recommend this property and definitely plan to return. The checkin process was smooth. The staff was helpful. The house and community is beautiful and very well kept. It looks just like the pictures. Being in a gated community made us feel nice and safe. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach was breathtaking. The white sand was so clean and beautiful. I loved the privacy of the beach. Our family had our own little area to ourselves. There is a wagon in the garage with coolers, floats, and beach/pool toys for kids. We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children (one being a 1 year old) and we were nice and comfortable with plenty of space. The heated pool was amazing. It kept us nice and warm when it was cool and breezy. The wifi worked great. We were able to connect all of our devices including multiple Firesticks and a PlayStation. I also would like to add that the left sliding door at the bottom level leading to the pool could use some attention. It looks as if it will eventually come apart. We didn’t use it. We only used the right sliding door at the bottom level when going out to the pool.

Great time with family, 8-10 min walk to beach with small kids
We had a good time. You can tell it's corporate, it lacks the attention to details, for the price they had for each night. There were some issues throughout the house that needed attention fixing that I had to call about. When I did call, they were very responsive and quick to action. The pool was great, love that it was heated, worth the $50/day. Beach was an easy 8-9 minute walk through a gated community. The three levels the kids loved, the grandparents not so much, ha. Balcony doors had PVC pipes to keep shut instead of fixing the locks on them. Bunk bed upstairs was super wobbly and didn't trust putting my 6 and 4 year old in them even after the tighten the bolts up after I called. They had a beach cart that was awesome to travel with to bring to beach and all the towels, and rags inside was a plus to have on hand. Wish there were a bathroom downstairs where pool is so kids didn't have to dry off and then run all the way up to the next floor.

Bella Luna - Spring Break 2022
The size, layout, and location of the house was great for our big family. Really need a bathroom on the ground level, as this is where the pool is located. Furniture in main living area, specifically dining room and bar stools are wobbly and should probably be replaced. When we arrived the pool had not been cleaned and there were dust bunnies under the beds. When the pool heater and the dryer quit working, maintenance was there right away to fix. The pool is a nice size and the walking distance to beach is great! Overall a great house for us and we had a wonderful time!
