Pearl of Destiny is a magical place to experience the wonderful community of Destin & the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. This home offers all of the luxuries you could want in a serene beach vacation, including a private pool (that can be heated for an additional fee) & courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a family dinner. There is a wine fridge & an additional icemaker to fill your ice chests for the beach. There is also an extra refrigerator in the laundry room. Two complimentary street legal electric golf carts with your stay will get you quickly to the sugar-white sands of the Gulf of Mexico to explore the shores, a 4 seater & 6 seater, as well as 4 bikes with helmets. If you need additional golf carts available for rent at discounted prices for our guests.

The Pearl of Destiny vacation rental home is elegantly decorated & thoughtfully designed to offer the most privacy & enjoyment of the guests. The master bedroom offers a luxurious king size bed & a master bath complete with dual vanities, an oversized walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, & a soaring ceiling with a skylight. There is also a twin sleeper chair. Upstairs, you will find three spacious bedrooms, two of which feature balconies with stunning views of the pool. Two bedrooms have a king size bed & the third is a bunk room, perfect for children! There is also a poolside guest house, which offers a master suite with a king size bed, a luxury bathroom, & a beverage center with a mini fridge & coffee maker. Every bedroom has a flat screen television. A ping pong table, games & puzzles provide some fun when not at the beach or out exploring Destin.

Destiny East is an exclusive gated community that offers several amenities including a clubhouse, 2 neighborhood pools, hot tub, fitness center, movie theater, tennis, basketball courts, BBQ area with outdoor kitchen, walking trails, & playground! The neighborhood is located on pedestrian and golf cart friendly Scenic 98. So you can walk down to the beach to catch a sunset or take a relaxing bike ride. Nice nieghborhood and location

The home overall was ok. The guest house was not useable due to the moisture and associated smell. Communication with property manager was not great. One golf cart was broken and the governor on them are set below the speed limit on main roads.

Great space!

Our stay was amazing! We had 15 people total- 7 of which were children. The home itself had more space than expected and everyone was surprised at area of individual space/rooms/beds. However the best part was that there was large areas where we all could gather and spend time together. The house was located in a cul de sac on a quiet street. It was not far from the beach or from our favorite restaurant. The golf carts were great and provided a faster/easier/more fun way to get around.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. Great amenities however we felt constantly targeted by an employee. The community was not friendly to vacationers. I made a complaint but did not receive a response.

Great Family Get Away

The property was just as pictured (except the size of the pool is a bit tinier than it looks) Very clean. There was plenty of room for all eleven of us! Plenty of sleeping space. And plenty of room to get to yourself when needed. The kitchen could use a bit of updating on items, but it was still great! We enjoyed our week, just wished we had been able to book longer!

Peaceful Vacation

The property was very spacious. Easily accommodated 11 adults and 1 one child. Enjoyed the private pool. The six and four passenger golf cart made it extremely easy to get to the beach. I would definitely return.

Fabulous time in Destin

Our family vacation in Destin East was a huge hit with the entire family! Our proximity to the beach, the spacious living areas and built in pool were fabulous! We were slightly disappointed in the “tired” conditions in the property, not all of appliances worked properly and furniture was in less than ideal condition.

Better Than Expected

The pictures don’t do this home justice even though they look great. In person is even better. Absolutely loved everything except the toilet paper that was a step down from gas station TP as if that is possible. Otherwise we loved the spacious kitchen with its large fridge, two ovens, two sinks, two dishwashers and independent ice maker (super convenient). The living room is spacious and comfortable to relax and recover from a day at the beach. Also enjoyable was the whole house sound system. Loved this stay!

Most amazing place I have ever stayed.

Its was Clean, big, lots of amenities. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops. The clubhouse pool was beautiful. The private pool was so convenient. So much space for everything. Comfortable and relaxing, would definately book again!

Quiet neighborhood

The gated community was quiet and peacefully. I felt safe the whole time. The house was beautiful and clean. The golfs carts were great beach access easy to get to. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Christmas!

Had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful. We added the heated pool to our booking and it was perfect for the cooler days. We had 4 generations under one roof with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a traditional family Christmas dinner and baking Christmas cookies. Never once with 11 people did we have to wait for a bathroom.

Great vacation location

The house was wonderful and roomy for our very large group, we had room to spread out and not be on top of each other. Our only disappointment is that the pool wasn’t clean or clear. Destin couldn’t get any better. Great place to be on vacation.

Excellent Home

This vacation home was a great pick. Everyone enjoyed it. The family room was huge and spacious enough for our party of 14. The golf carts that were provided had good speed to them. Lots of beach gear in garage in case anyone forgot theirs. Pool was small but nice for its size. Community pool and park was great but be sure to have your bracelet on. Overall a great vacation and the management were very helpful. The people with xplorie for the activities were great also and very accommodating. It was well stocked with dishes. Only a couple suggestions to make it an even greater place. Locks for some of the doors such as bathrooms. Large parties it would be nice to have a lock to prevent walk ins. Blackout shades for the bedroom windows. Luggage racks on golf carts to help take beach back and forth. Two trash cans for trash pickup

Beautiful Vacation Home

Home was clean, very well stocked, and had plenty of room for our party of 8. The master bed and bath are amazing and we were glad it was on the first floor so my 79 yr old mom did not have to use the steps. Upstairs bedrooms were okay but nothing special. The living room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. We reported that the TV in the living room did not work (as many before us have) and a third party repair company did show up on the 3rd or 4th day to fix it. The pool is very small and dirty! We cleaned it daily but the filter could not keep up. I understand that this has been a problem for other guest as well. The location is not convenient to the beach so the old slow golf carts are a necessity. Rules for this house are excessive so allow time to read about everything you could be fined for upon arrival. We are not likely to rent this house again.

Fantastic get away

We absolutely loved our time at Destin! Pros: The house was beautiful. We had a few snags but all in all it was wonderful. The kids loved the pool! The location was fantastic. The men loved the grilling area. And us women were very impressed with the large kitchen. Highly recommend this home to any large group. It worked perfectly for our group. We would definitely go back. Cons: The pool heater was out most of the time there (kids didn’t tell me till later) and I paid a decent amount to have it. There was some tree bugs in the house and silver fish. And when I went to grab a blanket out of the closet there was a metal bar on it (it was on top couldn’t see it there)that fell knocked me in the head making me bleed pretty good. And the gulf carts we had weren’t the best compared to the other homes. Ours were very slow and the parking didn’t work on one of them. And the lights were a bit annoying to work. Only other thing was no locks on any doors (bedroom or bathrooms).

Family enjoyed the property

Rugs needed cleaning. Large rug in living room was stained and needed to be replaced or deep cleaned. Lighting in living was very bad, no lamps just bright overhead lights. Family enjoyed the property and the golf carts were great for going to the beach.

Spacious, beach and pool easily accessed

Good location, only a 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach where you have access to the private beach, and very close to two nice pools. We would have appreciated beach chairs (there were several that were broken) but there were plenty of toys, buckets, shovels and inflatables for the kids. House pool was small but totally worked for our group with 6 kids ages 8-14. The kitchen was well equipped. We would have appreciated dish towels and dish cloths. One dish towel was provided. No dish cloths. We have two pieces of feedback: 1) for the high cost of this rental there were some amenities that we think could have been provided or bumped up: beach towels at a beach property, beach chairs , kitchen towels, dish cloths, extra bath towels. Our other complaint is that working with Destiny Palms was a challenge. Calling their main number for any information results in less information than I had before the call. On one occasion prior to coming, I called asking about the fishing excursion. They said it would be a private boat with our party of 11. The actual group in charge of the boats later informed me that it was a “party boat “ of 40-50 people. We opted out due to COVID-19. Destiny Palms should better understand the perks that are offered through their rental properties. They were also unable to provide basic info about the property, surroundings, etc. I called before we left inquiring about COVID related concerns. They were unhelpful and only shared that “the beaches are packed.” 😩? It would have been highly reassuring for them to let me know there is private beach access that is much less crowded (due to our COVID worries). When I went to use the credit with 30A a couple days before our arrival the site was closed to new orders. We did not have any chance to redeem this. On the website, it says do not book more than two weeks in advance, so we waited but then apparently they sell out. This has nothing to do with the house and location, they were great. Overall we would recommend and hope a couple of basic things are added to the property.

Great Thanksgiving event

Invited the family to Pearl of Destiny, Destin, FL for a Florida kind of Thanksgiving. Room enough for all to have their space, and a large open concept kitchen/family room made the feast most enjoyable. Walking the beach afterward was the best way to end the day.

Dirty in Destin

The place is a spacious property and worked well for our weekend wedding stay. The property had dead bugs and dust over an inch thick on AC returns. The floors were so dirty that people's feet turned black. My friend's rental had a broken down golf cart for 3 days (and staff didn't have time to read email, but did replace it once I called). Their floors were so dirty/sticky and their grandbaby could not crawl around. The pool had weeds 2 feet long and the pool light did not work (not safe nor legal with a baby around). These houses are very expensive to rent in the shape they are in currently. Also, the kitchen was woefully understocked with pots and pans. The chef brought his own, but the cabin we rented for the honeymoon in the middle of the mountains had awesome pots, pans, and kitchen accessories!!! The staff were short-handed on a holiday weekend during an impending hurricane....so they did the best they could. They did send a cleaner (but she did not have proper cleaning tools and hit the AC returns in the ceilings with a broom and sent dust flying everywhere right before the wedding rehearsal and lunch. The maintenance staff did come quickly to fix the gas stove prior to the chef arriving (but there were parts in a drawer)...someone should have checked a gas stove- that is not safe! Overall, I could not ignore the issues but could not change them on my wedding weekend. No one has offered to do anything for us to visit again, and we do visit quite often. I feel disappointed by the responses from the mgmt company as they seems defensive and they don't tell the whole story.

Great time with family

The pictures were accurate the house was wonderful the time spent there with family was fantastic horrible checking in talk to you one really nice person and then one really rude person one really nice person and one really rude person it was a 3:45 when we talk to someone and we realize that we were not supposed to have the codes are ready to get in they were still supposed to do a inspection we sat in the living room waiting for someone to come with all her suitcases because we were supposed to be in the house codes were set sent if were we were supposed to get them we called numerous times different people each time you talk to someone at a quarter till or no one had still came to do the final inspection that was the start of our vacation we have people flying in from all over the country at different times They should’ve been used to this kind of thing we were checking in on Sunday the house was supposed to be vacated on Saturday the day before still no inspections I liked everything else that happened that week to make up for our our terrible check-in we did receive a wonderful boat trip to watch the dolphins highly recommend it wonderful time Need better organizations for checking one person was not talking to the other person

GREAT HOUSE

This house was awesome for 16 people, eight adults and eight kids. The only thing that would have been better is if it would have been beachfront. There were two golf carts that enabled all of us to go to the beach and travel around the beach area without trouble. The kids used the pool unending!!
