Relax and enjoy the view from your furnished balcony, prepare meals in your well-equipped kitchen, or just kick back and watch your favorite movies or TV shows on one of the flat screen TVs. While the beach is just steps from your rental, you'll find even more opportunities for fun in the sun at places like the Track where you can hop in a go-kart, play mini-golf, or brave the SkyFlyer, located right across the street. Race down some incredible water slides at Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, less than a mile west. Or head to Henderson Beach State Park, a mile-and-a-half east, where you can hike the nature trail, do a little fishing, or relax on the warm sands.

Beach service is not included. A beach service vendor sits on the beach, and guests that wish to rent from the vendor must go out to the hut and pay them.
A resort fee (for amenity wristbands and parking passes) of $15 plus tax per person (5 years old and up) must be paid during mandatory pre-registering online. Website provided in confirmation email.
This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Breath Taking Views! Excellent Location - But...
We did enjoy our 11 night stay, the views are breath taking and the location is excellent. Property seems managed well-parking lot clean and on site security is a plus. The unit could use some improvements. The master bed is in serious need of replacement - very uncomfortable. There were stains on the master sheet. The master bath tub does not drain well. The washer was dirty and could not do laundry as it got black yuck on the clothes. Floor rugs are dirty. The balcony glass was dirty and had foot prints from previous rents all over. That said, the kitchen and appliances were very clean and well stocked. We did enjoy our stay - location and views can not be beat in Destin!

Overall condo was nice except jetted tub was grungy and didn’t drain properly, kitchen needs pizza and baking sheet pans. I would not recommend Sterling Sands because of their beach situation. We were not allowed to sit near the water and were moved like second class guests to behind the rentable umbrellas and chairs. No one mentioned the requirement to rent umbrellas and tables in order to sit beachfront either when we booked or checked in.

Good Location and Clean
Stayed here for a workcation. The property and location was good. The condo could use some maintenance. The electrical was not good. Some of the outlets wouldn’t work and the lights would dim up and down on their own. The place was clean however their was some staining in the showers (prob just from age) and rust on some areas throughout the condo.

Not very clean.
When we got to the condo the floors were sticky and any time you were bare foot you’d end up with the bottom of your feet being black only an hour after arrival. Some of the cooking utensils were stained yellow and very badly needed to be replaced on top of not having any spatulas at all which made cooking very difficult. The shower didn’t drain in the master bedroom. And the jets were gross. I wasn’t comfortable bathing my two year old in the tub at all. In the second bedroom we scooted the bed over a tad bit and there was trash left from previous guest. Empty sprite bottle, etc. Also did a load of laundry while we were there and ended up with clothes in my pile that were not ours. Need to do a better job cleaning.

Beautiful view, clean condo
The view from the 8th floor is perfect, just the beach and the ocean. Sunrise to the left, sunset to the right, and the moon reflected over the water all night. This property was clean, with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen (remember to bring your own salt and pepper, coffee and coffee filters). One note, the property is right off of I-98, so there is significant road noise, from motorcycles to semi-trucks that can be heard in the bedroom. We always have a fan, so the noise doesn't bother us, but a sensitive sleeper would want to bring a white noise machine or a fan.

This Condo was perfect for our family vacation. Our daughter had her own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect for her. The view from the balcony was so beautiful. It was easy access to the pool and beach!

Life is best by the beach
Overall our experience was good. We met some very nice people during our stay, staff was extremely helpful. The set up, the organization of the room was easily to find everything that we needed for our stay. We did have some difficulties with the front tv as to where the box was located or if it was the remote to change the channels or the volume. Downside: the master bath was either not mopped or the bottom of the trash can was not clean, because there was urine on the floor from the toilet to the cabinet side. Which when I had to change out the bag I put the can on the sink to change and noticed the urine. Then I had to disinfect the counter area. The second room was a bit of a challenge, either the bed or the tv should be changed on the set up, possibly change the mounting to be more flexible/motion-able because when laying in bed it was a bit strenuous to watch. Fortunately our daughter had her laptop to watch movies. Since families stay it would be nice to have a four toaster vs a two slicer. The glass table used near the sofas move, I would be a bit worried to have toddlers stay since it was not stable. Lastly the vents could use a cleaning.

Week of Hurricane Sally
The condo was exactly as pictured. Everything we expected was provided. I emailed Vacasa about a small maintenance issue early on Sunday that was resolved before 10 am the same day. They also checked in on us during the storm which was very nice. The only downside was bad beach service-this was in no way related to Vacasa.

Great view but mediocre condo
For the money, this condo should sparkle. Main areas are clean but your met with areas that haven’t been touched in a year. Sofa and guest bed are astoundingly poor and extremely old with no cushion. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Best part was the view / balcony.

The condos location was great. The unit was not somewhere you can comfortably spend several days
The location of the condo was great! Perfect view of the beach. The downfall to this unit was there was no drawer space for clothes so you have to live out of suitcases and that causes it to be messy. There was one closet in the master but it was full of old wall decor that needed to be removed. It left no space in the closet for anything. Also, the balcony did not have the chairs and table that are shown in the pic. It had 4 small plastic chairs and 2 small plastic end tables.

Great Location. Property needs some work and updating
The room was clean and served our purpose for a long weekend. It would have been hard to stay there any longer because there was not a drawer for clothes in either bedroom. The elevator had on very dirty rug that did not even cover they plywood floor. We were disappointed they chose to power wash the pool deck in the middle of the day instead of earlier in the morning when no one was using the pool
