I don’t expect anything fancy, just clean and functional. TV and one lamp didn’t work. Big wet spot around fridge. Bathroom needed a good scrubbing, especially under rim of toilet bowl. Lots of flies and spiders.

There were ants in our room and the TV did not work. The breakfast area was small and crowded, so we ended up eating breakfast somewhere else. Kinda felt like we got ripped off.

My bath tub drained slowly enough that I was standing in water at the end of my 3 min shower. Lighting was dim through the halls. Sausage gravy was cold, and I arrived for breakfast in the lobby 10 min after it started. Overall, a disappointing experience for the price I paid for one night.

Nice but not high end

Spent 4 nights at Super8 in Decorah. The bed was not super comfortable but better than some. This hotel did not smell musty. Was cleaner than some Super8’s we have stayed at. Customer service was very good. People were nice. Would stay there again. Not high end but not a bad place.

Broken exterior doors leaving no security. Never updated from the time it was built. Rooms and entire place was dirty. Possible blood on the wall in our room and something on one of the beds blanket. All light fixtures covered in dirt and dust. Bathroom fixtures in bad shape and ceiling exhaust was falling off. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend staying here to any of my friends or family. I guess it’s probably what I should have expected for a super 8 at $120 for a night.
