This place is a hidden gem , it has a resort feel to it from having an indoor pool , bar/restaurant, breakfast was phenomenal and included with stay. (Pros) Indoor pool Bar Restaurant Full breakfast included Workout center Office center Pleasant and helpful staff Fair and unbelievable rate per night (Cons) Jacuzzi wasn't working Sauna wasn’t working Heater in the pool (if there was one) not at a temp you would expect Despite the cons which I’m sure are in the works to be fixed , this Hotel is now my go to when I am in the Decatur area.

The staff is very polite, professional and accommodating. The hotel is clean, safe and well maintained. The outside of the property is a little run down, but safe and clean. The jacuzzi was empty and being repaired during our stay ((8/23-8/25), but the pool was open, clean and well maintained. It is obvious this hotel used to be a destination. Now I would consider it one of the best kept secrets in Decatur. We are already booked to return later this month.

They charged $25 extra dollars without telling me. Then when I questioned the unexpected charges, I was told they were "holder fees" for potential damages after i had already checked out. I was never told about these potential charges or did it say anything in the details of booking. They also refused to give me a receipt at the time of check out. I will be disputing these charges with my bank.

We had made reservations, but when we saw the property and the room, we decided not to stay. The place looks almost abandoned. There is also gambling on the property, which made me uncomfortable, since we had small children with us. There was trash under the sink and people loitering in the parking lot. It didn't seem like a safe part of town. The desk person was friendly and helpful, though, and they allowed us to cancel our reservation after the deadline.

The hotel was older but nice. The room was clean & comfortable. Pool is inside but not heated and needed some cleaning. Talking to the staff Covid hit them hard & they are trying to make it back.

There was a domestic disturbance in the room right next to us that was physical and verbal. Front service staff shrugged it off like it was nothing, tried making a joke about the domestic situation going on in the hotel. We asked for the cops to be called for the safety of the couple and no one showed up. Another guest that was above the disturbance also came to the lobby to complain as well. Was moved to a different room that had blood on the floor and crusty brown stains on the sheets. The room also smelled awful.

Disappointed

We could not have the room we booked because of the non stop partying and excessive pot smoke everywhere. I’m allergic to it and ended up throwing up several times. They moved our room and it was not the king bed we needed. The supervisor was very kind and told us she would refund all our money. We have yet to see it. As It has been charged to our card. $406. The staff was very kind and tried their best with limited resources.
