Terrible Management
First, let's talk about the positives:
* location is directly on the Bay and only a couple minute walk to the Beach
* house was clean when we arrived
* we were able to check in an hour early, even without requesting it
Now, for the negatives:
* only groceries within ~15 minutes are very expensive
* not much in the way of chairs or beach accessories on site
* 4g/5g internet is very spotty on the property
* wifi was not operational when we arrived and property owners seemed to be unaware of that
* icemaker was not operational when we arrived and property owners seemed to be unaware of that
* no water filter available on site
* slow to deal with our wifi issues and completely ignored the icemaker issue
* dealing with wifi issues took a substantial amount of our vacation time
* no compensation offered for dealing with issues
Here, I have composed a timeline to give you an idea of what happened:
* check in one hour early
* after unpacking, I sent owners a request to get the icemaker and wifi issues resolved
* immediate response, but it becomes clear to me that the contact number is a company that has a local team that I don't talk with
* company claims that they attempted contact with me on icemaker issue; I have no phone calls, text messages, or message through VRBO so I let them know that
* company asks me which internet provider they use (why would I have that info?)
* company eventually tells me (after I contacted them several more times) that wifi will be corrected on Monda
