We are of the belief of if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Which is why it took so long for the response.
Driving up to the home, it looked lovely. Arriving on the porch we were greeted with spiders and LOTS of spider webs, Which we had to swipe away to get through the front door. All of the seating and fans on the porch were also covered. Not the greeting we’re were expecting. Upon entering the home the furnishings looked nice and the living room furniture was comfy. Although the seams and in between the cushions of the couch were filled with crumbs and dirt The house smelled musty and moldy which was not good for me as I have COPD. The kitchen was nice, but again was NOT clean. There were crumbs under the toaster/on the counter and the toaster itself was disgusting. The microwave and the refrigerator needed a good cleaning.
Both bathrooms had hair everywhere! On the walls, on the floor, on the sink, in the tub, etc.The master bath tub had a bath mat that was growing mold, a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod and there was so much filth on and in the vanity I don’t know how to describe it.
The description of the property promised a hot tub and a lake view. There was no hot tub and the lake was dried up. We should have been told these were not available. We HAVE PICTURES as proof of all and more described.
We would appreciate a refund of the $200 cleaning fee and one nights stay.
