The location was very convenient for my needs. Much of the property seemed like it was last redone in the 1980's. Looks like the present owners are starting to give it a facelift

While this looked like an ordinary roadside motel from the front, when we opened the door to our deluxe, double queen riverside room, we were surprised and delighted by the view from the enormous picture window that framed the beautiful lawn leading down to the river behind the inn.

Good location

Very comfortable room. This property is located right along the Housatonic River. Wish we had time to just enjoy the outdoors.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable king room. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Staff was pleasant. Good value for our two night stay. Good a/c in the room also

I stayed just for one night but the place was excellent. The king bed room was very spacious including the bathroom and very comfortable. There are a couple of adirondack chairs right on the banks of the Housatonic River, sat and took a very peaceful nap there. For what I needed, it was a really good place to stay - met with folks in New Milford, which is like 5 minutes away along with the Housatonic Brewery. Great place. (2 mins away.) The price was affordable given the area as most other properties were much higher.

Local stay with family

We were visiting family at their Lake House on Candlewood Lake. This was very conveniently just 5 minutes away, and easy to find on a main street. The bed was comfortable, nice TV and small, but comfortable sized room. Although no breakfast is included with the room, a nice touch was that in addition to the microwave and refrigerator in the room, the Keurig came not only with coffee, and the usual sugar packets, etc but instead of that awful, usual powdered milk, there was liquid creamer packs for the morning coffee. It was a very comfortable stay for a reasonable price.
